Air Force Agniveer 2027 Complete Guide: Latest Updates, Physical Test, Coaching Institutes & Test Series
Air Force Agniveervayu 2027 intake planning with Doon Defence Dreamers and Major Kalshi Classes course checks, subject routes and selection stages.
Hello Air Force aspirants! I am Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. Agniveervayu eligibility, paper duration, marking and fitness standards must be checked against the exact intake and any later corrigendum.
Do not combine Intake 01/2027 and Intake 02/2027. Keep the two notices, application records and selection-stage updates separate, and use the official CASB recruitment portal for current amendments.
Published intake update
Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 has already had official recruitment activity during 2026. Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 has also been advertised. Its notice listed registration from 6 to 26 July 2026 and the online examination for 22–23 September 2026. Those scheduled dates have passed. Check the recruitment portal for the current stage and subsequent amendments, and keep 01/2027 and 02/2027 documents separate.
Intake-labelled eligibility and selection summary
Intake | Eligibility and exam reference | Fitness and stage reminder |
|---|---|---|
01/2027 | The 01/2027 corrigendum raised the maximum enrolment age to 22 and amended the date-of-birth block to 1 January 2005–1 July 2009. Read the 01/2027 advertisement with the corrigendum on the CASB portal. | Phase-I is followed by PFT, Adaptability Tests I and II, and medical examination. The 01/2027 notice specifies a 1.6 km run, then push-ups, sit-ups and squats; detailed standards and recovery intervals are intake documents, not a coaching shortcut. |
02/2027 | The 02/2027 notice gives the date-of-birth block 1 July 2005–1 January 2010 and a maximum age of 22. Use that notice and its amendments for the educational alternatives and category-specific conditions. | Use the 02/2027 notice for its paper and PFT wording. Do not carry an unamended 21-year limit or 01/2027 document into the 02/2027 record. |
These are planning references, not a current invitation to apply. The notices can be amended, and medical boards make the final fitness decision.
01/2027 paper duration and marking
The official 01/2027 notice gives three Phase-I combinations: Science Subjects, 60 minutes covering Physics, Mathematics and English; Other than Science Subjects, 45 minutes covering English and Reasoning & General Awareness; and Science plus Other than Science, 85 minutes covering Physics, Mathematics, English and Reasoning & General Awareness.
One mark is awarded for a correct answer.
Unattempted questions receive zero marks.
Each wrong answer attracts a 0.25-mark deduction.
Candidates must qualify each relevant paper individually; normalisation and state-wise shortlisting may apply.
The 02/2027 notice should control its own paper wording and later amendments. Check the named intake before using a practice test or timetable.
Physical fitness: train to the notice
For the 01/2027 notice, PFT-I is a 1.6 km run: within seven minutes for male candidates and within eight minutes for female candidates. After the stated recovery periods, PFT-II includes 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats for male candidates; the female sequence and limits are set out in the notice. Candidates then face Adaptability Tests I and II and medical examination.
The full notices also contain medical, educational and document conditions. Use the CASB portal for the complete qualification alternatives, medical exceptions, recovery intervals and the 02/2027 version. A compact fitness summary cannot replace the official medical standard.
Use the exact intake and category
The Agniveervayu notices distinguish Science, Other than Science and combined subject categories. Read the required school subjects, aggregate, English marks and accepted diploma or vocational alternatives in your exact notice. A course labelled Air Force is not enough to establish eligibility.
Medical Assistant recruitment in the Airmen cadre is a separate route. The Medical Assistant notice must not be merged with Agniveervayu. AFCAT and NDA are separate officer routes.
Prepare for the written and later stages
For Science preparation, work through the prescribed Mathematics and Physics topics with timed numerical practice. For the non-science components, build English accuracy, reasoning and general awareness. Candidates selecting both subject categories need a plan that covers each required paper.
Practise on screen, review normalised-score guidance and organise original certificates before Phase II. Fitness work should progress alongside written preparation. Provider claims of guaranteed medical clearance or selection should not influence the decision to purchase a course.
Coaching and tests
Coaching is optional. Doon Defence Dreamers and Major Kalshi Classes publish defence-related AcademyCheck listings. Verify whether any offered course specifically covers Agniveervayu, your subject group and the remaining stages. Their NDA or AFCAT packages cannot be described as Air Force Agniveer courses without separate evidence.
Use the AcademyCheck course directory to compare available defence listings. A provider listing does not establish a dedicated 2027 Agniveervayu package or selection outcome. Read the AFCAT officer-entry guide only when exploring the separate officer route.
What to do next
Existing applicants should follow their portal status and call letters. Future applicants should monitor the next registration notice while preparing the correct subjects and fitness events. Keep the intake number on every saved document to prevent confusion between recruitment cycles.
Official information: read the 01/2027 advertisement, check corrigenda on the CASB portal, and use the current 02/2027 notice named there. Published schedules do not establish that an examination occurred or that a candidate’s next stage is open.
Frequently asked questions
Can an AFCAT course replace Agniveervayu preparation?
No. AFCAT is a different officer-entry route. Reuse only genuinely overlapping subjects and follow the Agniveervayu syllabus for the full plan.
Which age limit should I use?
Use the named intake's amended notice. For the 01/2027 corrigendum and the 02/2027 notice reviewed here, the maximum enrolment age is 22; do not use an older unamended 21-year limit.
What is the 01/2027 written-test duration?
It is 60 minutes for Science, 45 minutes for Other than Science and 85 minutes for the combined option, with +1, zero for unattempted and −0.25 for wrong answers.
Does the 1.6 km run complete the physical test?
No. It is followed by the prescribed PFT-II exercises, Adaptability Tests and medical examination. Read the intake notice for the complete requirements.
Summary
Match every eligibility, paper and fitness detail to Intake 01/2027 or 02/2027, retain the corrigendum and monitor CASB for the current stage. Prepare written, physical and medical documentation together. Warm wishes for your Air Force preparation!
