UPSC NDA II Result 2026: SSB Registration, Documents & Next Steps

After the NDA II 2026 written result, check SSB registration and documents, find official help contacts, and follow the notice if you missed the two-week window.

UPSC NDA II Result 2026: SSB Registration, Documents & Next Steps

Hello NDA candidates and families. If your roll number is in the NDA II 2026 written-result list, your next question is likely about SSB registration. I checked the official UPSC notice on 26 October: it gave successful candidates two weeks from the 9 October announcement, so that window has passed. If you missed registration, contact the relevant recruiting authority for instructions now; do not assume the form is still open or that an extension exists.

Confirm the result and your course

The exam was held on 13 September 2026. The UPSC written-result page links to the official PDF. Search for your roll number and check every digit. The written-result notice says shortlisted candidates are provisionally qualified for SSB interview for the 158th NDA Course and the 120th Indian Naval Academy Course, both scheduled to commence on 1 July 2027. That is written-stage qualification, not final selection or joining.

Check your SSB registration status

  • If you already registered: the notice says you do not need to register again. Keep the email account you registered with active and check its inbox and spam folder for your Selection Centre and interview dates.

  • If you did not register: the two-week period from 9 October ended around 23 October. Contact the appropriate recruiting authority listed in the official result and SSB notice and ask what to do next. Do not rely on a forwarded message about an extension.

  • For Army-first-choice candidates: the notice directs registration through Join Indian Army. If your first choice is Navy or Air Force, use the service-specific instructions and contact details in the same notice.

Keep these documents and details ready

  • Keep your original date-of-birth and educational-qualification certificates ready for the SSB interview.

  • The notice says to present these originals to the respective SSB during interview. Do not send the originals to UPSC.

  • Use your registered email for the call-up message, then confirm the Selection Centre, date and travel plan from that communication.

  • UPSC says marks and cut-off marks for NDA II 2026 will be uploaded after the full process is complete and the final result is declared.

Official contacts listed in the notice

For examination questions, the notice lists the UPSC candidate helpdesk at 011-24041001 and 011-40303444, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For Army-first-choice SSB matters, it lists 011-26175473 and the Army recruitment portal. Use the Navy or Air Force contact shown in the notice if one of those is your first choice.

Common questions

Does the written result mean I am finally selected?

No. It means you have qualified at the written stage for the next step. SSB, medical checks, document verification and final merit come later.

When will I receive my SSB centre and interview dates?

The notice says the Selection Centre and interview dates will be sent to the registered email address. Keep that inbox accessible and check it regularly.

When will marks and cut-offs be published?

UPSC says marks and cut-off marks will be uploaded after the examination process is over and the final result is declared.

For now, keep the official result and notice together, check the email used for registration, and follow the instructions for your own service choice. Coaching is optional practice; it cannot replace an official call-up or affect the selection process. For the wider exam stages, see our NDA complete guide.
