What is UPTET?
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test checks whether a candidate is eligible to teach in primary and upper primary government schools under the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. This year's exam took place on July 2, 3 and 4, 2026, across 75 districts of the state. Out of 19,94,661 registered candidates, 17,70,714 showed up to write the paper.
When will the UPTET 2026 result come out?
The commission has not confirmed an exact date yet, but the result is expected in the last week of July or the first week of August 2026. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 results usually come out together, so you will not have to check the site twice.

- Original photo ID such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN or Driving Licence
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Special reservation certificate, if applicable
