Two NREC College Students Clear UGC NET in Economics

Khurja: Two students from the Economics Department of NREC College, Khurja, have cleared the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in Economics. Mahima and Parvinder Kaur passed the June 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The result has brought joy to their families, teachers and well-wishers in Bulandshahr. It also marks an important academic achievement for the college’s Economics Department.
Mahima credits family and teachers
Mahima, a resident of Sarai Nasrullah, is the daughter of Jai Kishore. She said that hard work, her parents’ blessings and the guidance of her teachers helped her clear the examination.
She thanked Dr OP Singh, head of the Economics Department, and Dr Sharad Kumar for their support and academic guidance. Preparing for a national eligibility test takes steady work, and Mahima’s result shows how regular study can turn into a major academic step.
Parvinder Kaur dedicates success to parents
Parvinder Kaur, who lives in Gautam Nagar near City Station Road in Khurja, also cleared UGC NET in Economics. She is the daughter of Sardar Mahipal Singh.
