Interestingly, Vedika’s initial ambition was to become an aerospace engineer. However, her desire to make a difference in people’s lives steered her toward the field of medicine. This turning point led her to pour her heart and soul into her NEET preparation.

 Vedika’s Preparation Strategy

Vedika’s success didn’t come without sacrifice and an immense amount of hard work. She dedicated 5-6 hours daily to self-study. After returning from coaching sessions at around 8:30 p.m., she allowed herself a brief break of 30 minutes, during which she relaxed, ate, and watched a TV show. Then, she would dive straight back into revising the lessons, using her self-made notes to reinforce her understanding of the material.

This balance of coaching and personal revision, along with her consistent efforts, was key to her success in NEET.

 A Dream College: Maulana Azad Medical College

With her incredible rank, Vedika had her pick of top medical institutions. She chose to pursue her MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi—one of the most prestigious medical colleges in the country. Although she could have opted for a college in her hometown of Jaipur, Vedika wanted to study at the best institution possible. Delhi’s proximity to Jaipur also played a role in her decision.

As Vedika embarks on her MBBS journey, she remains open to exploring various specializations. While she has not yet decided on her exact field, she is currently leaning toward surgery as a potential path.
