JEE Main 2026 Topper List: Complete Details of 100 Percentile Scorers

The National Testing Agency released the JEE Main 2026 results on 17th February. This year, 12 students achieved the perfect 100 percentile score. Out of 13,55,293 registered candidates, 13,04,653 appeared for the exam.

The topper list includes names, application numbers, and states of eligibility. NTA has organized the results in multiple categories to help students find relevant information. Let's look at who made it to the top.

The 12 Students Who Scored 100 Percentile

These students have achieved the highest possible score in JEE Main 2026. Their performance sets them apart from over 13 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam.

Here's the complete list of 100 percentile scorers:

  • Shreyas Mishra from Delhi (NCT)
  • Narendrababu Gari Mahith from Andhra Pradesh
  • Shubham Kumar from Bihar
  • Kabeer Chhillar from Rajasthan
  • Chiranjib Kar from Rajasthan

Rajasthan leads with three students in the 100 percentile club. Andhra Pradesh follows with two students. The remaining states have one student each in this elite group.

State-Wise Topper Performance

NTA released a state-wise topper list to recognize the best performers from each state. This list helps students understand how candidates from their state performed.

After the 12 students who scored 100 percentile, the next best performers include:

Utkarsh from Uttar Pradesh scored 99.9992497 percentile. A Vishnu Sai Theja from Karnataka secured 99.9992454 percentile. Ajay P from Tamil Nadu achieved 99.999238 percentile.

Some states had students scoring in the high 90s. For instance, the top scorer from Lakshadweep achieved 89.1111367 percentile, while Mizoram's best performer scored 90.3855086 percentile.

The variation in scores across states reflects the diverse educational landscapes and preparation levels across India. Students from smaller states and union territories also made their mark on the list.

Category-Wise Top Performers

The results also highlight top performers from different categories. This information matters for students who benefit from reservation policies.

In the General category, 11 students scored 100 percentile. The Gen-EWS category topper, Shresth Jasoria from Rajasthan, scored 99.9992442 percentile.

Narendrababu Gari Mahith topped the OBC-NCL category with a perfect 100 percentile. Deva Srivedh led the SC category with 99.9992271 percentile. Daksh Sehra from Rajasthan topped the ST category with 99.993862 percentile.

In the PwBD category, Arsh Jain from Madhya Pradesh scored 99.9100843 percentile. This shows that students from all backgrounds performed well in the exam.

What Happens After the Results

The top 2.5 lakh candidates become eligible for JEE Advanced. This exam serves as the gateway to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology.

Students can check their results on the official website using their application number and password. The scorecard shows marks in each section, percentile score, and qualifying status.

NTA has already started the registration process for JEE Main Session 2. Students who want another attempt can register until 25th February. Those who appeared in Session 1 only need to pay the registration fee. New applicants must complete the full registration process.

Understanding the Numbers

The registration and appearance numbers tell an interesting story. Out of 13,55,293 registered students, 13,04,653 appeared for the exam. This means about 50,640 students skipped the exam.

The gap between registration and actual appearance happens every year. Students skip exams for various reasons, including better preparation for the next session or changes in career plans.

Only 12 students scored 100 percentile out of over 13 lakh candidates. This translates to roughly 0.0009% of all test-takers. The numbers show just how competitive this exam is.

How to Check Your Result

Students can visit the official NTA website to check their results. You need your application number and password ready. The system shows your scorecard immediately after login.

The scorecard contains your NTA score, percentile, and All India Rank. It also shows your performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics separately. Keep this scorecard safe as you'll need it for counselling.

If you're among the top 2.5 lakh candidates, start preparing for JEE Advanced right away. The Advanced exam requires deeper conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

For students planning to appear in Session 2, use your Session 1 performance as a learning tool. Identify weak areas and work on them before the next attempt. The registration window closes on 25th February, so don't miss the deadline.
