JEE Advanced 2026 Top 50 Rankers: Names, Attempts, and Coaching Details

Hi Aspirants!

After the JEE Advanced 2026 results were announced, many students were not only interested in who secured the top ranks. They also wanted to know where these students studied, which coaching institutes they joined, how long they prepared, and whether they appeared for JEE Advanced for the first or second time.

The problem is that this information is scattered across coaching institute websites, student interviews, news reports, and result pages. It is difficult to compare the Top 50 rankers in one place.

To make this easier, we researched the JEE Advanced 2026 Top 50 rankers and cross-checked publicly available information about their attempts, coaching programmes and preparation. Where information could not be verified, we have clearly marked it instead of making assumptions.

The JEE Advanced 2026 results were announced on June 1, 2026. A total of 179,694 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 56,880 qualified. Shubham Kumar secured AIR 1 with 330/360.

What We Found From the Top 50 Data

The Top 50 data shows that classroom coaching appears frequently among the highest-ranked students. ALLEN, Sri Chaitanya and Narayana have significant representation, while Aakash, VMC, PACE and Bhashyam also appear among the reported affiliations.

At the same time, coaching attribution is not always straightforward. Some students appear in the public result material of more than one institute. In such cases, we have kept the multiple affiliations instead of deciding which institute contributed more to the student's result without enough evidence.

The preparation journeys also vary. Some students followed long-term classroom programmes, while others used online or distance-learning programmes, test series, Olympiad preparation or self-study alongside coaching.

What About Their Number of Attempts?

This was one of the main things we looked for while researching the Top 50.

However, the number of JEE Advanced attempts was not publicly reported for the 50 rankers in the reliable sources reviewed for this article.

We therefore did not assume that a student was appearing for the first or second time simply because they had prepared for two years, joined a particular coaching programme, or appeared for both JEE Main sessions.

This is important because preparation duration and exam attempts are not the same thing.

How We Compiled the Data

The official JEE Advanced 2026 result material was used to verify the ranks and the official Top 10 marks.

For coaching and preparation details, we checked official institute result pages, candidate-specific interviews and media reports. When two institutes made different claims about the same student, both claims were retained rather than silently choosing one.

Marks are included only as additional information. For candidates beyond the official marks information, Cracku's 2026 JEE Advanced topper dataset was used as a secondary source where a stronger candidate-specific score was not available. Candidate-specific or media-reported scores were preferred when they differed.

For example, candidate-specific reporting gives Aryan Ragupathy and Manu Parameshwaran 310/360, Riddhesh Bendale 304/360, Bhavesh Patra 293/360 and Shaurya Khemka 289/360, so those figures are used instead of the lower Cracku figures.

Sources & Research Notes

The research for this article was based on:

  • Official JEE Advanced 2026 result and press-release information

  • Official result pages published by coaching institutes

  • Candidate interviews and preparation stories

  • Established media reports

  • Cracku's 2026 topper dataset for supplementary marks data

All coaching claims were checked against the institute or programme being discussed. Where the available evidence was conflicting or incomplete, the article keeps that uncertainty visible rather than presenting an unverified claim as fact.

For attempts, no number has been assigned unless a reliable candidate-specific source explicitly reported it.
