What is the CUET Exam Pattern?

  1. Languages (Section 1A & 1B):

  • List B1 covers 18 subjects, and List B2 covers 9 subjects.
  • You must attempt 40 out of 50 questions in 60 minutes for each domain subject.
  1. General Test (Section III):

  • You must attempt 50 out of 60 questions in 60 minutes.


CUET Eligibility Criteria


Here are the basic eligibility guidelines for the CUET exam:

  • Marks Requirement: General category students need at least 50% in their 12th boards, while SC/ST candidates need 45%.
  • Subject Match: Your high school subjects should align with the course and college you are applying to.
  • Age and Nationality: There’s no age limit. Indian nationals, as well as nationals from Nepal, Bhutan, and certain other countries, are eligible.
  • Application: You can apply to three universities and choose three programs while filling out the CUET form.
  • Documentation: Even if you register without completing your 12th boards, you’ll need to submit your mark sheet during counseling.

CUET follows the reservation quotas as outlined below:

  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • OBC (Non-creamy layer): 27%

CUET 2025 Application Fees
