Alpha NDA Academy vs Major Kalshi Classes: Which NDA Coaching Is Better?
Compare Alpha NDA Academy in Sikar and Major Kalshi Classes in Prayagraj for NDA preparation: course stages, published fees, hostel and schooling inclusions, AcademyCheck ratings and reviews, tests, progress reporting and support.
Hello NDA aspirants and parents, I am Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. Choosing NDA coaching can be confusing when a school-linked residential course, a post-Class 12 target batch and a combined NDA-plus-JEE programme are presented together. For parents, the decision also depends on the hostel bill, food, supervision and the arrangements for girls. This guide compares two different city routes using the current provider pages, AcademyCheck listings and the campus evidence available for Alpha. Check the exact batch, written timetable and itemised fee before paying.
At a glance
Course stage: Alpha offers school-linked Sikar routes and SPARTANS after Class 12; MKC lists Prayagraj target and foundation routes.
Published price: Alpha’s six-month SPARTANS hostel figures differ (₹1.34 lakh and ₹1.50 lakh); MKC lists ₹50,000 for NDA Target and ₹60,000 for a separate NDA+JEE course.
Hostel: Alpha lists AC hostel and mess for selected batches; MKC lists hostel, but no full current residential bill.
Training: Alpha describes written, mock-test and SSB preparation; MKC’s target combines NDA, JEE and CUET and lists six SSB interviews.
Evidence: Alpha’s campus tour is available; neither profile ratio states its cohort, period or result stage.
These prices are not like-for-like course or complete residential totals. Confirm the exact batch and request an itemised bill.
Alpha NDA Academy
Alpha is a Sikar defence-preparation institute with school-linked routes and a separate post-Class 12 SPARTANS batch. The provider describes preparation across the NDA written exam, SSB and physical training; ask for the named teachers, weekly timetable and the exact accommodation assigned to your batch.
What the campus tour lets families check
Alpha appears first in this comparison because AcademyCheck's team visited its Sikar campus, filmed the facilities and spoke with students and parents. Watch the Alpha campus tour here. The video shows the boys' hostel from about 2:44, girls' rooms from about 6:18 and student discussion from about 9:19. Use it to prepare questions and inspect the actual room, classroom, warden arrangements and meal schedule in person; a video cannot confirm what is available in a later batch.
Fees and residential inclusions
Alpha's live general fee guide lists the ARJUNA and BULLS EYE hostel option at ₹2,40,000, with CBSE school fee of ₹20,000 and one-time registration of ₹5,000 shown separately. A separate 2026–27 fee table in the provider's pages shows ₹2,65,000 for Class 11 and ₹2,85,000 for Class 12. These displays do not reconcile for every school-stage route. For SPARTANS after Class 12, the general fee guide shows ₹2,50,000 for one year and ₹1,34,000 for six months with hostel; the dedicated SPARTANS page shows ₹2,50,000 and ₹1,50,000 for those durations. The six-month figures conflict.
Before comparing the price, ask Alpha to identify the dated offer for your batch and itemise tuition, hostel, meals, school fee, registration, taxes and any deposit. Confirm whether a one-time charge applies again if the student changes class or extends the stay.
Residential: Alpha's SPARTANS page lists AC hostel with attached washrooms, mess and tuition for the stated fee; confirm the current room and meal plan.
Written and SSB: provider material describes NDA Mathematics, English and GAT preparation, mock tests, doubt support and SSB work. Ask for a sample paper with answers and the actual psychology, GTO and interview schedule.
Fitness: ask for the weekly running, stamina and physical-training routine, and how it changes for students with different fitness levels.
Girls' arrangements: Alpha advertises a girls' batch with female mentors and residential arrangements. Verify the current girls' hostel, warden coverage, entry controls, medical support and whether the instructor assigned to the batch is on campus daily.
The AcademyCheck Alpha profile displays 450+ students cleared and a 9:20 selection ratio, but it does not define the period, denominator, course or result stage. Alpha's separately provided one-in-three figure differs from that profile display. Ask Alpha for one dated, cohort-based count that distinguishes written qualification, SSB recommendation and final merit selection before treating either ratio as a measured success rate. The same profile has 4.0/5 from three reviews; that small sample does not establish a typical classroom or hostel experience.
Major Kalshi Classes
Major Kalshi Classes (MKC) is a Prayagraj option for students comparing a Class 12 target course with school-stage foundation routes. Its official admissions page describes a one-year NDA target that also covers JEE and CUET, plus a separate six-month NDA classroom option. A combined route may suit a student who wants an engineering alternative; an NDA-focused student should check how weekly teaching time is split.
Course price, hostel and training checks
The AcademyCheck Prayagraj profile separately lists an NDA Target Batch at ₹50,000. Our MKC NDA fee guide discusses a different one-year NDA-plus-JEE course displayed at ₹60,000. Do not treat the two prices as a discount on the same programme. Neither figure establishes a complete residential bill. Ask for the target attempt, classroom shift, tax, hostel rent, meals, deposit, refund terms and exact accommodation address in writing.
SSB: MKC's official page says the one-year target includes six SSB interviews. Confirm whether these are part of the course price and what individual interview, psychology and GTO practice is scheduled.
Written classes: request the current Maths, English and GAT timetable, assigned faculty, a complete mock with worked answers and a sample test-analysis report.
Hostel: the AcademyCheck profile lists hostel facilities, including separate accommodation for boys and girls, but it does not provide a complete current hostel tariff. Inspect the actual building and ask who supervises it.
The public MKC profile displays 30+ students cleared and a 4:6 selection ratio, and has 4.0/5 from one review. Its ratio also lacks a stated cohort, time period and result-stage definition. Do not compare it with Alpha's displayed result numbers until both institutes provide the same definitions.
Which route may fit your situation?
Entering Class 11 or 12 and relocating: inspect Alpha if a school, coaching and hostel routine in Sikar suits the student. Resolve the provider's different fee displays before admission.
Already in Prayagraj after Class 12: inspect the exact MKC target classroom and decide whether its NDA/JEE/CUET mix and SSB support fit the remaining attempt.
Moving after Class 12: compare Alpha's residential SPARTANS offer with MKC tuition plus a separate hostel, mess, deposit and travel budget for the same duration.
Choosing by results: ask each institute for the same exam cycle, course, cohort size and final-selection definition. A written-stage qualification, SSB recommendation and final merit selection are different outcomes.
Our NDA complete guide explains the written and SSB stages. You can also review current options in the AcademyCheck NDA course list; check the exact branch and course behind every price.
FAQs
Which is better for NDA coaching, Alpha or MKC?
There is no universal winner. Alpha is a Sikar school-linked and residential route; MKC offers a Prayagraj target course that combines NDA, JEE and CUET. Compare the student's class, attempt, full fee, timetable and actual accommodation.
Why do Alpha's hostel prices differ?
Alpha's general fee guide shows ₹1,34,000 for six-month SPARTANS with hostel, while its dedicated SPARTANS page shows ₹1,50,000 for 2026–27. Ask which dated offer applies and obtain a single itemised quotation.
Does MKC's ₹50,000 Target Batch listing include a hostel?
The AcademyCheck profile does not establish that. The ₹60,000 price in the fee guide belongs to a separately described NDA-plus-JEE course. Obtain course and hostel charges separately in writing.
Can the displayed selection ratios be compared?
Not from the current profile displays alone. Both omit a clear cohort, period, denominator and result stage. Ask for the same cycle and count of final merit selections before interpreting a ratio.
What should parents check on a campus visit?
Visit the actual classroom and room, then ask about meals, daily schedule, wardens, girls' accommodation, entry controls, medical help, emergency procedures, study supervision and the refund terms for the exact batch.
Take the same written checklist to both centres: course and attempt, weekly timetable, teachers, marked mock, SSB sessions, room and warden details, full fee and refund rules.
