Alpha NDA Academy vs Trishul Defence Academy: Which Coaching Is Better for NDA?

Compare Alpha NDA Academy and Trishul Defence Academy for NDA preparation: residential fees, online courses, named faculty, teaching samples, mocks and student fit.

Alpha NDA Academy vs Trishul Defence Academy: Which Coaching Is Better for NDA?

Hello NDA aspirants! Alpha NDA Academy is the stronger starting shortlist for a clearly priced school-and-hostel plan in Sikar. Trishul Defence Academy is worth considering for a home-based online route or a separately quoted classroom programme. Your school stage and living arrangement should decide which comparison matters.

I’m Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. This guide separates integrated residential preparation from online tuition, then compares faculty disclosures, teaching samples, tests and support. A cheaper digital course is useful only if it supplies the teaching and accountability you actually need.

Start with the course you need

  • After Class 10: compare school registration, subjects, practicals, NDA classes and the full living plan.

  • Class 12 or pass-out: compare syllabus coverage, Maths/GAT practice, doubt support and the next eligible attempt.

  • Already written-qualified: compare SSB tasks and individual feedback instead of buying an unnecessary foundation course.

First check the NDA syllabus and preparation guide. A coaching admission does not itself establish eligibility for the target UPSC attempt.

Alpha NDA Academy: what the residential quote covers

Alpha NDA Academy’s Sikar profile provides a starting point for enquiries. The provider’s 2026–27 fee page lists Class 11 at ₹2,65,000 for one year and Class 12 at ₹2,85,000 for one year, with CBSE schooling, tuition, AC accommodation with attached washrooms and mess described.

For Class 12 pass-outs, the detailed section lists six months at ₹1,50,000 or one year at ₹2,50,000, including an SSB capsule, accommodation and mess. These are different programmes; the Class 11 and Class 12 amounts are separate annual quotes, not one two-year price.

Residential-price disclosure leader: Alpha. The published stage-specific amounts and inclusions make an initial family budget easier. Request the intake-specific final bill, tax treatment, deposits, uniform, laundry, travel and refund terms before treating the headline as your complete payable amount.

Trishul Defence Academy: distinguish online and classroom routes

Trishul’s current digital portal lists HERCULES 5.0 for NDA I 2027 and NDA II 2027 at ₹3,200 including GST, with 365-day validity. This is an online course price. It does not establish entitlement to school admission, hostel, meals or personal SSB assessment.

The product screen includes areas labelled syllabus, live class, study material, NDA previous-year questions, mock test and online test series. Those labels alone do not establish the number of full papers, assigned teachers or feedback frequency. Obtain the actual timetable and inclusion sheet for HERCULES 5.0.

Trishul also describes classroom NDA/foundation preparation and hostel provision. Specify the branch when seeking a written residential quotation; an online price cannot be used as its classroom-and-hostel total.

Online-budget choice: Trishul. Its published digital offer gives a lower-cost way to study while staying at home. This is a format advantage for a suitable independent student, not proof that its residential programme is cheaper than Alpha’s.

Faculty: who will actually teach your batch?

Alpha’s published subject team

  • Pawan Sir - numeric tenure not published - Director and NDA Mentor.

  • Rakesh Sir - numeric tenure not published - English.

  • Mukesh Sir - numeric tenure not published - General Knowledge.

  • Mohit Sir - numeric tenure not published - Mathematics.

Alpha’s homepage identifies these roles but does not establish that every teacher appears in every intake. Ask which Maths, English and GAT teachers are assigned to your course and request a class from each.

Trishul’s disclosed leadership and teaching gap

  • Col. Pankaj Mehrotra - numeric subject-teaching tenure not stated on the checked course page - SSB-oriented leadership; described by Trishul as an NDA veteran and former Deputy President of SSB Boards.

  • Col. G. P. Singh - numeric tenure not published on that page - former GTO and listed mentor.

  • Written-course subject team: the checked online page and public HERCULES product screen do not give a complete teacher-by-teacher Maths/English/GAT roster with numeric tenure.

Subject-roster disclosure leader: Alpha. It gives named written-subject roles. Trishul’s SSB leadership background answers a different question and should not substitute for the identity of your Maths teacher.

Teaching samples: revision versus strategy guidance

Trishul’s official Part 4 NDA Maths one-shot revision, streamed on 4 September 2026, runs about 59 minutes. The reviewed opening moves from binomial-coefficient questions and a shortcut approach to complex-number arguments. The board presents multiple-choice questions with handwritten working.

This gives students a concrete way to judge revision pace. Pause before each solution and try the question yourself. Students who have not learned the underlying concepts should request a beginner lesson too.

Alpha’s homepage links an approximately 11-minute NDA preparation and strategy video. It is a different sample type from a full Maths revision class. Trishul provides the more directly assessable subject sample in this checked pair; a matched Maths demo from Alpha is still needed for a teaching-quality verdict.

Mocks, material and accountability

Alpha reports a weekly full 900-mark NDA mock on Saturdays and performance reports sent to parents. It also describes SSB preparation from the start. Alpha has the clearer published parent-report routine, which may help a student who needs external accountability. Confirm the calendar for your exact batch and ask to see an anonymised report.

For Trishul’s online route, ask for a sample full mock, solution discussion, chapter/PYQ allocation and the process for unanswered doubts. Do not attach a generic website mock-count claim to HERCULES 5.0 without product-specific confirmation.

AcademyCheck view: one marked paper and its follow-up plan are more useful than a large question-bank total. Check whether the report identifies weak concepts and whether a teacher discusses those errors before the next test.

Hostel, results and ratings: use the right evidence

Alpha’s residential fee disclosures describe AC accommodation and mess. Trishul’s hostel page describes individual beds, meals twice daily, utilities, wardens, entry/exit controls and emergency assistance. Inspect the allocated room and meal plan: these are provider descriptions, not a physical inspection or an identical accommodation specification.

Trishul’s site links a provider interview naming Sanchit Chaturvedi as NDA 152 recommended. That identifies an SSB-stage claim; recommendation, final merit and joining are different outcomes. Ask each institute for the result year, candidate and full-course/test-series/SSB association. Neither a testimonial nor an undated selection percentage establishes comparable batch success rates.

Alpha’s AcademyCheck profile currently displays 4.0/5 from three reviews. This is a small platform-review sample, not an editorial teaching score. A different Trishul branch’s rating cannot establish the experience at the branch or online course you are considering.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose Alpha as your first residential shortlist when school, accommodation, food and parent reporting must work together. Its written fee disclosure is the useful advantage.

  • Consider Trishul’s online route when you can stay at home, maintain a routine and want a low listed entry price with an inspectable Maths revision sample.

  • For a Trishul classroom move or an SSB-only course, obtain a separate branch-specific quote and trainer/timetable confirmation before deciding.

Frequently asked questions

1. Is Trishul’s ₹3,200 course cheaper than Alpha’s hostel package?

It is a lower online tuition price, but the scopes differ. Compare it with a home-study budget, and compare residential programmes using complete school/room/mess quotations.

2. Which is easier to budget for after Class 10?

Alpha publishes explicit Class 11 and Class 12 residential amounts. Still request the school arrangements, annual inclusions and the complete two-year payable plan.

3. Which offers a useful teaching preview?

The checked Trishul Maths revision lesson shows actual questions and working. Ask Alpha for a matched subject class; strategy guidance alone cannot establish Maths teaching quality.

4. Do hostel facilities guarantee selection?

No. Evaluate teaching, practice, rest and feedback. Verify named results and course association rather than treating facilities or promotional percentages as success evidence.

5. What should I get before paying?

A named course and faculty timetable, sample lesson, marked mock, final bill, access/room allocation and cancellation terms. For SSB preparation, add the trainer and individual-feedback schedule.

Summary

Alpha leads on explicit residential pricing, named subject roles and published parent reporting. Trishul’s ₹3,200 GST-inclusive HERCULES 5.0 offer and public Maths sample suit a different home-study need. Choose the exact programme that fits your stage and support requirements; avoid comparing online tuition with a full residential bill.
