UPSC CMS 2026 Admit Card Download Guide For Medical Officer Exam

The Union Public Service Commission has released the e-admit cards for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2026. The exam is part of the recruitment process for 1,358 Medical Officer posts in central government departments and services.

UPSC CMS 2026 Exam Date and Timings

As stated in the examination details, the CMS exam will be held in two sessions on 2 August. Paper I will take place from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. It will cover General Medicine and Paediatrics.

Paper II will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. It will include Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and Preventive and Social Medicine.

Items Not Allowed Inside the Centre

UPSC does not allow mobile phones, smartwatches or other electronic devices inside the examination venue. Books, bags and unauthorised study material are also not permitted.

Leave such items at home where possible. Storage facilities may not be available at every centre, and the commission will not take responsibility for personal belongings left outside.

Reach the Centre Early

UPSC has advised candidates to reach the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the test begins. This time is needed for face authentication, identity checks and frisking.
