Understanding Your Grades

The board assigns grades based on the marks you score. Here is the grading system:

  • Grade A: 750 marks and above (75% or more)
  • Grade B: 600 to 749 marks (60% to less than 75%)
  • Grade C: 500 to 599 marks (50% to less than 60%)
  • Grade D: 350 to 499 marks (35% to less than 50%)

You need to score at least 35% to pass the exam. Students who score less than this will need to appear for the 2027 final exams.

What If You Cannot Access the Result?

The official website might face technical issues or show errors due to heavy traffic on result day. If this happens, wait for some time and try again. The server usually stabilizes within a few hours.

If you still face problems downloading your marks memo, contact the TGBIE helpdesk. They will guide you through the process.

What Happens After Result Declaration?

The result released online is provisional. The examination authority will announce the date for distributing original marksheets. Students can collect their marksheets from their respective schools.

If you are not satisfied with your marks, you can apply for revaluation. The board will open the revaluation portal soon. You will need to pay the required fee and submit your application within the specified time.

Students who failed in two subjects out of six will not be eligible to clear the Class 12 board exam. According to Telangana board rules, you need to pass in at least five subjects, including one language subject, to be considered as passed.

Important Points to Remember

Keep your admit card handy when checking the result. You will need the hall ticket number mentioned on it. Take a screenshot or printout of your result immediately after it appears on screen. Save this file in multiple places for future verification or college admission processes.

The marks memo will be required for college admissions, so store it safely. Do not share your hall ticket number or personal details with anyone claiming to provide results through unofficial channels.

There is no negative marking in TS Inter exams. Your marks are calculated based only on correct answers. This means every correct answer adds to your total score without any penalty for wrong answers.

Career Planning After Results

Once you clear your supplementary exams, you can explore various career options based on your stream. Science students can pursue engineering, medicine, architecture, or basic sciences. Commerce students have options in chartered accountancy, company secretary, business administration, or accounting. Arts students can choose from humanities, fine arts, journalism, mass communication, or education.

Research your options well and choose a course that matches your interests and strengths. Many colleges start their admission process soon after board results, so prepare your documents in advance.

The TS Inter supplementary result is an important milestone. Whether you passed or need to work harder, use this as a learning experience. Focus on your strengths and work on areas that need improvement. Your board exam marks matter, but they do not define your entire future.
