Login Issues and How to Solve Them
Some candidates face trouble logging in to check their results. If your password is not working, use the 'forgot password' option to generate a new one. You will receive a reset link on your registered email ID.
Remember, you need the same email ID and password that you entered during registration. No new credentials are required.
Which Score Should You Use for Admission
If you appeared for only one attempt, you must use that score for admission. But if you took both attempts, you can use the better of the two scores.
This gives candidates a fair chance to improve their percentile and secure admission in top MBA colleges across Maharashtra.
What Happens After Result Declaration
Once the result is out, the State CET Cell will conduct a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for admission to participating MBA colleges. The counselling will be held in two or three rounds, most likely in July and August 2026.
During CAP registration, you can select between 1 and 300 institute-course combinations. Once you lock your preferences and submit the form, you cannot change them.
All candidates who score above zero in MAH CET 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counselling will be conducted separately for Maharashtra State candidates and All India candidates.
Expected Cut Offs for Top Colleges
While official cut offs will be announced during the CAP rounds, expected percentiles for top MBA colleges are quite high. Colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, Welingkar, and PUMBA are expected to have cut offs between 98 and 99.99 percentile.
Cut offs depend on several factors:
- Exam difficulty level
- Number of test takers
- Pass percentage
- High percentile distribution
- Seat availability
- Past percentile trends
How the Two Attempts Compared

In the first attempt, the final answer key was released on May 13, after considering objections raised by candidates. For the second attempt, 29 objections were raised against the provisional answer key, but only 6 were accepted.
