TS ICET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment is out. Candidates who took part in Telangana ICET counselling can check their allotment order on the official website, tgicet.nic.in. The allotment is based on rank, category, reservation rules, seat availability and the web options entered by each candidate.
The allotment order shows the college, course and tuition fee details. It also lists the steps and dates needed to confirm the seat. Keep your login details ready. The counselling portal may not appreciate guesswork, especially when a deadline is close.

What to do after seat allotment
A TS ICET seat allotment is provisional. You must complete the required steps before it becomes a valid admission. The main steps are fee payment and online self-reporting.
1. Pay the tuition fee
Pay the net tuition fee shown in the allotment order through the counselling portal. The Phase 1 payment window is open from August 11 to August 14, 2026. You can use net banking, a debit card, credit card or UPI.
Candidates who receive full government fee reimbursement may see a zero fee amount. Even in that case, online self-reporting remains compulsory. A zero fee does not mean zero action.
2. Complete online self-reporting
After fee payment, select the self-reporting option on the portal and complete the process. The system will generate a Self-Reporting Acknowledgement Receipt and a unique admission number. Download and print both documents.
Payment alone does not confirm the seat. If you pay the fee but fail to self-report before the deadline, the seat may be cancelled.
3. Report to the allotted college
Physical reporting at the college is scheduled after the final phase. Candidates holding a seat must report between August 22 and August 25, 2026, with the required original documents and photocopies. The college will check the records and complete the admission process.
Can you take part in the final phase?
Yes. Candidates who want to try for an upgrade can participate in the final phase after paying the Phase 1 fee and completing online self-reporting by August 14. This keeps the Phase 1 seat as a backup.
However, the Phase 1 web options will not carry forward. Candidates seeking an upgrade must enter fresh web options during the final phase. If a new seat is allotted, the Phase 1 seat will be cancelled. The fee already paid will be adjusted against the new allotment, as per the counselling rules.
If no new seat is allotted, the Phase 1 seat remains available, provided the candidate completed payment and self-reporting on time.

What happens if you miss the deadline?
Failure to pay the tuition fee or complete online self-reporting by August 14 can lead to automatic cancellation of the Phase 1 allotment. The vacant seat may then be offered in a later round.
Students who cancel an admission should check the refund rules before taking action. The refund amount can depend on the date of cancellation and the type of college. Keep payment receipts, acknowledgement slips and cancellation records safe.
