TS EAMCET 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment: Result and Next Steps

If you sat for TS EAMCET this year, today is a big day. The Telangana Council of Higher Education releases the Phase 1 seat allotment result on July 10. If you filled your web options and are refreshing the counselling portal every five minutes, you are not alone.

No official time has been announced for the release. So keep your login details ready and check back through the day. The wait can feel long, but the process is worth understanding properly before you act on the result.

How to Check Your Seat Allotment

The steps are simple and quick:

  1. Go to the official TS EAMCET counselling website.
  2. Click the 'Phase 1 Seat Allotment' link on the homepage.
  3. Log in with your Hall Ticket Number, password and date of birth.
  4. Your result appears on screen.
  5. Download the allotment order and keep a printed copy safe.

This allotment order is not just a piece of paper. You will need it at almost every step ahead, from paying fees to reporting at your college.

Got a Seat? Here's What to Do Next

If you have been allotted a seat, the work does not end there. You need to pay the tuition fee online and complete self-reporting by July 14, 2026. The fee amount depends on your category.

CategoryTuition Fee
SC/STINR 5,000
OthersINR 10,000

Once you pay the fee and self-report online, you still need to visit your allotted college in person between July 25 and 28. Carry your original certificates, including your hall ticket, SSC and Intermediate marksheets, transfer certificate, and category certificate if applicable. Missing this physical reporting step can cost you the seat, so mark the dates clearly on your calendar.

No Seat Yet? Don't Panic

If Phase 1 did not go your way, there is no need to worry. Round 2 counselling gives you another shot. New candidates who missed Phase 1 can also register fresh during this round.

Round 2 ActivityDate
Registration for new candidatesJuly 17, 2026
Certificate verificationJuly 18, 2026
Web options entryJuly 18 to 19, 2026
Freezing of optionsJuly 19, 2026
Seat allotmentOn or before July 22, 2026
Fee payment and self-reportingJuly 22 to 24, 2026
Physical reportingJuly 25 to 28, 2026

One important thing to remember: options you submitted in Phase 1 will not carry forward. You must enter fresh preferences for Round 2. If you already have a seat but want to try for something better, you can join Round 2 too. Just know that if you get a new seat, your old one goes away for good. There is no going back once you slide forward.

Which Colleges and Branches Fill Up Fast

Every year, government colleges like JNTU Hyderabad, Osmania University, CBIT and VNR VJIET see the highest demand. Computer Science and AI related branches close at lower ranks compared to Mechanical, Civil and Metallurgical Engineering, which usually stay open a bit longer. If your rank falls between 25,000 and 50,000, you still have a decent shot at good private colleges, so keep your options wide.

Quick Dos and Don'ts

A few small habits can save you a lot of stress later:

  • Download your allotment order the moment it appears, don't wait for a better mood or a better Wi-Fi signal.
  • Pay the tuition fee well before the deadline.
  • Keep every receipt, digital and printed.
  • Verify the fee amount for your category before paying.
  • Avoid trusting rumours or unofficial updates floating around on group chats.

Counselling season is stressful enough without adding guesswork to it. Stick to the official portal for every update, and treat every deadline like it is set in stone, because for admission purposes, it pretty much is.
