Tamil Nadu SSLC Supplementary Result 2026: Check Marks Online

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will release the Tamil Nadu SSLC Supplementary Result 2026 for Class 10 students who took the July examination. Students can check their provisional marks memo on the official websites, through DigiLocker, SMS and the UMANG app, once the result link goes live.

The supplementary exams were held from July 8 to July 15, 2026. These exams gave students another chance to clear subjects in which they did not secure the required marks in the main SSLC examination.

Where to check the Tamil Nadu 10th supplementary result

Students should use official websites to check the TN SSLC supply result 2026. The result link is expected to appear on these portals:

Keep your registration number and date of birth ready before the result is announced. This can save time when many students try to open the website at once. Government result websites can become slow under heavy traffic, much like a canteen queue just before lunch.

Steps to check TN SSLC Supplementary Result 2026

  1. Visit dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.
  2. Open the result section on the homepage.
  3. Click the link for “TN SSLC Supplementary Result 2026”.
  4. Enter your registration number and date of birth.
  5. Submit the details shown on the screen.
  6. View the provisional statement of marks.
  7. Download the result and save a copy for future use.

Check the spelling of your name, registration number, date of birth and subject marks. The online result is a provisional marks memo. Students must collect the original marksheet from their school when it becomes available.

Details on the TN 10th supply marksheet

The Tamil Nadu SSLC supplementary marks memo will show important information such as:

  • Student’s name
  • Registration number
  • Date of birth
  • School or institution name
  • Subject-wise theory, practical and internal marks, where applicable
  • Total marks
  • Grades or percentage
  • Result status

Students should download the file only from an official portal. Avoid websites or messages that ask for payment, bank details or unrelated personal information to show the result.

How to check the result through DigiLocker

The digital marksheet may also be available on DigiLocker after the board uploads the records. Students can follow these steps:

  1. Open the DigiLocker app or visit digilocker.gov.in.
  2. Sign in with the registered mobile number and password.
  3. Choose the option to search for documents from education boards.
  4. Select Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education.
  5. Choose the marksheet or result document.
  6. Enter the passing year and registration number.
  7. Select “Get Document” to fetch the digital marksheet.

The document may take some time to appear after the result is published. Students should use the same details given in their examination records. If DigiLocker does not show the marksheet at first, try again later or use the official DGE website.

Other ways to access the TN SSLC result

The board may provide the result through SMS and the UMANG application. The SMS format and mobile number can vary by examination and year, so students should follow the instructions given in the official result notice. Do not rely on an old SMS format found in a forwarded message.

To use UMANG, install the official app, sign in with the required details and search for Tamil Nadu education board services. Enter the registration number and date of birth if the service asks for them.

What to do if there is an error

If the downloaded marks memo contains a mistake, contact your school or the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, without delay. Report errors in the name, date of birth, registration number or marks through the process shared by the board.

Save the result PDF, take a printout and keep the original school marksheet safely. Students who pass can use the updated record during the next stage of admission or academic planning. Keep the registration number private when sharing screenshots or documents online.
