SSC GD Final Cut Off Marks
The final cut off is the lowest score needed for selection in a specific category, area, gender group, or force. SSC prepares the cut off after considering the number of vacancies, candidate performance, exam difficulty, and competition.
The cut off can differ for categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and other approved groups. It may also vary between male and female candidates and between different forces or areas. A candidate who clears the cut off is considered for selection only after meeting all other recruitment conditions.
SSC GD Selection Process
The final merit list is prepared after the main recruitment stages:
- Computer-Based Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Physical Standard Test
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification
Final selection depends on merit, category rules, medical fitness, force preference, and available vacancies. Clearing the written exam alone does not confirm appointment.
Forces Covered Under SSC GD Recruitment
Selected candidates may receive allocation to the Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Assam Rifles, Secretariat Security Force, or the Narcotics Control Bureau.
