  3. Find the link named Recruitment of Probationary Officers, Main Examination Result.

Check each digit of your roll number with care. One missed number can create needless worry, and exam results already provide enough of that.

What It Means If Your Roll Number Is Listed

If your roll number appears in the SBI PO Mains result PDF, you have been shortlisted for the next phase of recruitment. The next stages include the psychometric test, group exercise and personal interview.

SBI will share more details with shortlisted candidates through SMS or email. The call letter will include the test centre, reporting time, date and documents that candidates must carry. Keep checking the contact details used during registration. Also check the spam folder if an expected email does not appear in your inbox.

SBI PO Psychometric Test Date

The psychometric test is scheduled for October 30, 2026. This test helps the bank assess a candidate’s personality and suitability for a banking role. Candidates should answer each question honestly and stay consistent in their responses.

There is no need to create a new personality for the test. The bank is not looking for a film character. Read each question carefully, avoid rushing and follow the instructions shown on the screen or in the test material.

Group Exercise and Personal Interview

The group exercise and personal interviews are scheduled to begin on November 18, 2026. These stages test communication, awareness, teamwork, judgement and confidence.

For the group exercise, listen to other candidates before making your point. Speak in a clear manner and stay connected to the topic. Do not try to speak over everyone. A good team member does not need to win every sentence.

For the interview, revise basic banking terms, current affairs, the Indian economy and details from your application form. Candidates should also know about SBI, its services and the role of a Probationary Officer. Prepare short answers about your education, work experience, strengths and career plans.

Documents and Preparation Checklist

Shortlisted candidates should read the call letter as soon as it becomes available. Keep the required documents ready, such as the call letter, photo identity proof, photographs and educational certificates. The exact list will be mentioned in the official instructions.

Use the time before the next stage to practise speaking, follow reliable news sources and review common interview questions. Most of all, check the official SBI website for updates instead of relying on forwarded messages or social media posts. The recruitment page will carry the latest instructions, call letters and schedule changes.
