RSSB Lab Assistant Result 2026: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) released the Lab Assistant Result 2026 on August 14, 2026. Candidates who took the written exams can now check the merit list, cut-off marks and list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification (DV).
The exams were held on May 9 and May 10 for the Geography and Science streams. The result is available as a PDF on the official RSSB website, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The PDF includes the roll numbers of candidates who have been provisionally selected for the next stage.
What the RSSB result PDF contains
The result document includes the provisional merit list and category-wise cut-off marks. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF must attend the DV round. The board will share the centre details, dates and document list through later notices.
The result covers candidates from both the Science and Geography streams. It also lists candidates from the Non-TSP and TSP areas. Candidates should check the correct PDF before searching for their roll number. A small mix-up here can cause a large headache, much like finding the wrong classroom on exam day.

RSSB Lab Assistant cut-off marks
The provisional cut-off marks for the Science stream in the Non-TSP area are given below:
| Category | Cut-off score |
|---|---|
| General | 262.8126 |
| OBC | 254.8349 |
| EWS | 242.6329 |
| MBC | 234.0491 |
| SC | 222.5747 |
| ST | 202.7718 |
For the TSP area, the provisional cut-off marks are 234.0482 for General candidates, 211.6203 for SC candidates and 141.2698 for ST candidates. These marks apply to the stated area and stream. Candidates should refer to the official result PDF for the full cut-off details, including Geography and other categories.
Recruitment details and number of vacancies
RSSB issued the recruitment notification on January 24, 2026. The online application process ran from January 27 to February 25. The Geography paper took place on May 9, while the Science paper was held on May 10. The provisional answer keys were released on June 15.
The recruitment drive has 804 vacancies. Around seven lakh candidates registered and appeared across the two exam days. RSSB shortlisted candidates at about twice the number of available posts for the DV stage.
The board also disqualified 1,227 candidates because more than 10% of the questions or circles on their OMR sheets were left completely blank. Candidates should keep this rule in mind for future RSSB exams. An unanswered question is one thing. A large patch of blank OMR circles is a different problem.
What happens after the result?
Shortlisted candidates must prepare for Document Verification. RSSB is expected to issue detailed DV guidelines and individual schedules in late August. Physical verification is scheduled to take place at designated centres in Jaipur in September.
Candidates should keep original documents and valid copies ready. These may include educational certificates, identity proof, caste or category certificates, domicile documents and other records mentioned in the official DV notice. The exact list will depend on the instructions issued by RSSB.
The final merit list and final category-wise cut-offs are expected after the DV process, with publication scheduled for October. Department allocation and appointment orders are expected to follow from November onwards for candidates selected against the available vacancies.
