IBPS PO Admit Card 2026: Download Prelims Hall Ticket and Check Exam Details

IBPS PO Admit Card 2026 is now available for candidates who applied for the Probationary Officer and Management Trainee XVI recruitment. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the call letter for the preliminary examination.

Candidates can download the hall ticket using their registration number or roll number and password or date of birth. The IBPS PO prelims exam will take place on 22 and 23 August 2026. How to download the IBPS PO admit card

  1. Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
  2. Open the CRP PO/MT section on the home page.
  3. Select the link for CRP PO/MT-XVI.
  4. Click the link to download the preliminary examination call letter.
  5. Enter your registration number or roll number.
  6. Enter your password or date of birth.
  7. Fill in the captcha and submit the details.
  8. Download the admit card shown on the screen.
  9. Print a clear copy and save a digital copy for your records.

Check the website address before entering your details. Use the official IBPS portal and avoid links shared through unknown messages or social media posts.

Details to check on the call letter

Read the admit card from top to bottom after downloading it. Check the following details:

  • Your name
  • Roll number and registration number
  • Photograph and signature
  • Exam date
  • Reporting time
  • Exam centre name and address
  • Exam instructions
  • Documents and items allowed at the centre

Your name on the admit card should match the name on your photo identity proof. If you find an error, contact IBPS through the official contact details as soon as possible. Keep a screenshot of the issue and your application details when raising a request.

Documents to carry to the exam centre

Candidates should carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo identity proof. Common identity documents include an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving licence, voter identity card or another document accepted in the exam instructions.

Carry a photocopy of the identity proof if the call letter asks for one. Some candidates may also need to carry an extra photograph. Check the instructions on your own admit card because the requirements may vary. The photograph on the document should be clear, and the identity proof should be original unless the instructions state otherwise.

Important instructions for exam day

  • Reach the centre before the reporting time printed on the admit card.
  • Visit the centre once before exam day if the address is unfamiliar.
  • Carry only the items allowed under the exam rules.
  • Do not carry a mobile phone, smart watch, calculator or other banned electronic items.
  • Follow the instructions given by the centre staff.
  • Make sure the admit card and identity proof are easy to show at the entry gate.

Reporting time is not the same as exam start time. Reaching the centre at the last minute can create stress, and stress is not a helpful member of any exam team.

What happens after the prelims?

Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will move to the next stage of the selection process. The IBPS PO main examination is scheduled for 4 October 2026. Personality testing and interviews are planned for November or December 2026, followed by provisional allotment in January 2027.

IBPS releases separate call letters for different stages. The prelims admit card cannot be used for the main examination or interview. Candidates should download each new call letter when IBPS publishes it on the official website.

If you cannot download the admit card

First, check your registration number, roll number, password and date of birth. Enter the details in the format shown on the login page. If the page does not load, try again after clearing the browser cache or using another browser. Candidates should also check the official IBPS website for notices about server maintenance or changes in the download link.

Keep the printed admit card, identity proof and application details together until the recruitment process ends.
