RRB Section Controller Answer Key 2026 is available. Check responses, challenge errors by 25 October, and pay Rs 50 per question.

RRB Section Controller Answer Key 2026: Check Answers and Raise Objections

The Railway Recruitment Board has released the answer key for the RRB Section Controller Exam 2026. Candidates who took the computer-based test can now view the questions, their recorded responses and the provisional answer key. The objection window is open from 16 October to 25 October 2026.

This is the stage where candidates can check if the board has marked an answer incorrectly. If you find an error in a question, option or answer key, you can raise an objection online. The fee is Rs 50 for each question, along with any bank service charge.

RRB Section Controller Answer Key 2026: Key dates

Event Date and time
Section Controller CBT 12 and 13 October 2026
Answer key and response link opens 16 October 2026, after 4:00 PM
Last date to raise objections 25 October 2026, up to 11:55 PM

The objection window will close at 11:55 PM on 25 October. Candidates should not wait until the final hour. Websites can slow down, and payment issues have a habit of appearing at the worst time, much like a missing pen before an exam.

What can candidates check?

The RRB portal allows candidates to review three important items:

  • The questions shown in the examination
  • The options selected by the candidate
  • The answer marked by the Railway Recruitment Board

Check each question with care. Compare the answer key with your subject knowledge and the question shown on the portal. An objection should be raised only when you find a clear issue in the question, an option or the answer key.

How to raise an objection against the RRB answer key

  1. Visit the official website of the relevant Railway Recruitment Board.
  2. Open the link for the RRB Section Controller Answer Key 2026 or the response and objection window.
  3. Log in using the details asked for on the portal.
  4. Open your question paper, recorded responses and answer key.
  5. Select the question, option or answer key entry that you believe has an error.
  6. Enter the objection details as instructed on the website.
  7. Pay the required fee online.
  8. Review the information and submit the objection before the deadline.

Save a copy of the submitted objection and payment details. A screenshot or downloaded record can help you keep track of what you submitted. Follow the instructions shown on the RRB portal, as the board may display question-specific options while you raise the objection.

RRB Section Controller objection fee

The objection fee is Rs 50 per question. A bank service charge may also apply. The amount will depend on the payment process used on the portal.

For example, if a candidate challenges three questions, the base objection fee will be Rs 150. The bank service charge will be added to this amount, where applicable. Check the final payment amount before completing the transaction.

When will the objection fee be refunded?

The Railway Recruitment Board will examine the objections. If the board finds that an objection is valid, the fee paid for that valid objection will be refunded. The bank service charge will not be refunded.

The refund will be sent to the same account used for the online payment. Candidates should keep access to that account and retain their payment record until the refund process is complete. The board will decide whether an objection is valid after reviewing it.

Important points for candidates

  • Use the official RRB website link to check the answer key and response sheet.
  • Check the questions and recorded responses before raising an objection.
  • Pay Rs 50 for each question challenged, apart from the bank service charge.
  • Complete the process by 11:55 PM on 25 October 2026.
  • Keep the payment receipt and objection submission record.
  • Do not raise objections without checking the question and answer carefully.

The answer key and objection process applies to the Section Controller recruitment under CEN 03/2026. Candidates should read the instructions on the RRB portal before submitting any challenge and complete both the objection form and online payment within the stated time.
