  • Main Examination
  • Personal Interview
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

The Preliminary Examination is an online objective test of 100 marks. The Main Examination has an objective test of 250 marks and a descriptive test of 30 marks.

For the final selection, the Main Examination objective score and the interview carry weight in an 80:20 ratio. Candidates should prepare for both written tests and the interview instead of treating the interview as a last-minute task.

Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of Rs. 82,485 per month. The total monthly emoluments are about Rs. 1,14,000, along with applicable allowances.
