How to Verify NDA 2026 Results: I/II, Written and Final Merit
Check NDA I/II 2026 written-result lists, follow the SSB next steps and distinguish written qualification from final merit. Learn how to verify a coaching AIR claim against the exact UPSC cycle and candidate record.
Hello NDA aspirants—if a coaching post says “selected” or “AIR”, first check what the official result actually confirms. A written-result list only qualifies a candidate for the next stage; it does not by itself prove SSB recommendation, final merit or joining. I checked the UPSC NDA I/II 2026 records so you can compare each claim with the right cycle and stage.
NDA 2026 result status (checked 26 October)
NDA I 2026: UPSC uploaded the roll-number written-result list on 8 May and the name list on 13 May. Both are written-stage records. See the UPSC Written Results page and confirm that the PDF says NDA and NA Examination (I), 2026.
NDA II 2026: The exam was held on 13 September. UPSC uploaded the roll-number written-result PDF on 9 October and a name-bearing list on 13 October. These show written-stage qualification for SSB, not final merit. The NDA II examination page has the cycle-specific records.
When I checked the UPSC Final Results page on 26 October, I did not find an NDA II 2026 final-result entry. Recheck the official page before relying on a later merit or selection claim.
How to verify your result
Match the exam cycle first: NDA I 2026 and NDA II 2026 are separate examinations.
Open the corresponding UPSC result PDF from the examination or Written Results page. Check its title and publication date.
Search your roll number carefully, digit by digit. Keep the official PDF and date with your own candidate record; do not rely on a forwarded screenshot.
If your number appears in a written list, describe the result as written-stage qualification. Follow the SSB instructions in that cycle’s official notice.
Use a final-result record for final merit claims. A written-result PDF is not a marks statement or an all-India rank list.
What a coaching result claim should show
A poster may help you find a candidate or course, but the headline alone cannot establish what happened. Before repeating “topper”, “AIR” or “selected”, check:
the exact exam cycle and stage: written, SSB recommendation or final merit;
the measure being claimed: marks, percentile, course merit or all-India rank;
the official result or score record that supports that measure; and
the candidate’s actual course, branch and batch connection to the provider.
For example, an AcademyCheck profile for Prince NDA Academy Sikar can identify the provider and its stated preparation areas. It does not verify a particular NDA II 2026 rank. Check the candidate and official record separately, and describe an unsupported figure as provider-reported.
NDA II SSB registration: check the notice
The NDA II 2026 written-result notice asked successful candidates to register on Join Indian Army within two weeks of 9 October. That window passed around 23 October. The notice says candidates who had already registered need not register again. If you missed the step, contact the recruiting authority listed in the official notice for instructions; do not assume an extension. Read the notice for the current SSB and service-specific process.
Common questions
Does appearing in the written-result PDF mean final selection?
No. It confirms written-stage qualification. SSB, medical fitness, document checks and final merit are separate steps.
Can the written-result PDF prove marks or AIR?
Not by itself. The roll-number list is not a marks statement or an AIR list. Use an official score or final-merit record that identifies the same cycle and measure.
Where can I check whether final merit is out?
Use UPSC’s Final Results page and match the exact exam cycle. On 26 October 2026, I did not find an NDA II 2026 final-result entry there.
When the cycle, stage and score measure match, a result claim is much easier to judge. Check the UPSC record first, then follow the instructions for your own entry.
