Kerala Plus Two SAY Result 2026: Complete Guide to Check Your Score

If you're a Kerala Plus Two student waiting for your SAY exam result, you're probably refreshing your browser every five minutes right now. We get it. That feeling of checking your phone every ten seconds, hoping for good news, is basically a rite of passage for every student in Kerala.

The good news is that the wait is almost over. The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) will soon release the Kerala 12th SAY Result 2026 online. Last year, this result came out on July 18, so you can expect something similar this time around.

What is the SAY Exam, Anyway?

SAY stands for Save A Year, and it exists for a simple reason: to give students a second shot. If you failed in one or two subjects during your main Plus Two exam, you don't have to wait a whole year to fix it. The SAY exam lets you clear those subjects and move forward with your peers.

This year, over 1 lakh students appeared for the SAY exam, which ran from June 29 to July 3, 2026. That's a lot of students hoping for a fresh start, and the pass percentage in the main board exam stood at 77.97%.

When Will the Result Be Out?

Here's what we know so far:

EventDate
Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam 2026June 29 to July 3, 2026
Kerala +2 SAY Result 2026By July 18, 2026

The official date hasn't been confirmed yet by the examination authority, but based on last year's pattern, mid-July seems like a safe bet.

How to Check Your Kerala Plus Two SAY Result

The process is refreshingly simple. No secret codes, no complicated logins, just your basic details.

  1. Open the official website: results.kite.kerala.gov.in
  2. Enter your roll number and date of birth
  3. Submit the details
  4. Your result will appear on the screen
  5. Take a printout or save the PDF for future use

Make sure your date of birth matches your school records exactly. A small mismatch, like entering the wrong format, can block your access to the result. So double check before you hit submit.

Other Ways to Check Your Result

The official website isn't your only option. In case the site gets slow due to heavy traffic (which happens every single year, without fail), here are some backup plans:

Alternate Websites

  • keralaresults.nic.in
  • dhsekerala.gov.in

All three sites use the same login details, so you don't need to remember different credentials for each one.

Mobile Apps

  • SAPHALAM
  • iExaMS - Kerala
  • PRD Live

These apps work the same way as the website. Just enter your roll number and date of birth, and your result appears on your screen.

SMS Method

If your internet connection decides to test your patience on result day, you can check your result through SMS. Send KERALA12 followed by your registration number to 56263, and you'll get your result on your registered mobile number.

What Details Will the Result Show?

Once you access your result, you'll see:

  • Your name and roll number
  • Subject-wise marks
  • Total marks
  • Whether you have qualified or not

Keep in mind that this online result is provisional. Your official mark sheet will come from your school later, so don't misplace that PDF you downloaded.

Understanding the Pass Criteria

To pass the Kerala 12th exam, you need at least 30% aggregate marks. Each subject has three components: terminal examination, continuous examination, and practical examination. You need a D+ grade or above, along with 30% aggregate in all three components combined, and 30% in the terminal exam separately.

If you're wondering whether D+ counts as a pass, yes, it does. Just make sure you hit that grade in every subject to move on to higher studies without any hiccups.

A Few Tips Before Result Day

Keep your roll number and date of birth ready before the result goes live. Trust us, fumbling for your admit card while the website is already struggling under traffic is not a fun experience. Also, once you download your result PDF, save it somewhere safe. You'll need it later for college applications and, if required, revaluation requests.

And remember, no hard copy of this result gets mailed to you. Everything is online, so download and store it carefully the moment it's available.
