IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Check Vacancies, Eligibility and Application Process

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has opened applications for the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive will fill 13,706 vacancies in Regional Rural Banks across India.

The posts are open to candidates with a degree and to eligible MBA and CA holders in relevant fields. The application window will remain open from 1 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. Candidates must apply online through the official IBPS website before the deadline.

IBPS RRB vacancy details

The 13,706 vacancies include Office Assistant and Officer posts. The main vacancy details are:

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 8,183 posts
  • Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): 4,256 posts
  • Officer Scale-II and Scale-III: Vacancies are available in different officer categories

Office Assistant posts are often known as RRB Clerk posts. Officer Scale-I is also called the Assistant Manager post. Candidates should check the official notification for the full post-wise and state-wise vacancy list.

Who can apply?

Applicants must meet the education and other conditions given in the official notification. Candidates should hold a degree from a recognised university or institution for the relevant posts. MBA and CA holders may also apply for posts where their qualification matches the required subject or work area.

The exact rules for age, local language, computer knowledge and work experience can differ by post. Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I applicants should read these conditions with care. A degree alone may not meet every requirement. This is the part of the form where many small mistakes like to hide.
