The IBPS Clerk 2026 application window closes today, August 21, 2026. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has opened the recruitment process for Customer Service Associate posts under CRP CSA XVI. Candidates who have not submitted the form should complete the process through the official website, ibps.in, before the deadline.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 11,403 vacancies in participating public sector banks. The IBPS Clerk prelims exam is expected in October 2026, while the mains exam is expected in December 2026. These dates are tentative, so candidates should check the official notification and website for changes.

The last date for both form submission and fee payment is August 21, 2026. The submitted application can be printed until September 5, 2026. Do not wait for the last few minutes. Banking websites can become as busy as a railway station during a festival.

How to apply for IBPS Clerk 2026

  1. Visit the official website at ibps.in.
  2. Open the link for IBPS CRP CSA XVI.
  3. Click on the online application link and select “New Registration”.
  4. Enter your name, mobile number and email ID.
  5. Note down the registration number and password shown on the screen.
  6. Log in and enter your personal, academic and category details.
  7. Upload the required documents in the given format.
  8. Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
  9. Submit the form and download the confirmation page and fee receipt.

Keep the registration number and password safe. You will need them to download the admit card, check the result and print the application form.

IBPS Clerk 2026 eligibility criteria

Applicants should read the official notification before submitting the form. The main eligibility rules include:

  • The candidate should hold a graduation degree from a recognised university.
  • The candidate should meet the age limit given in the notification. Age relaxation applies to eligible reserved categories as per government rules.
  • Computer knowledge is required for the post.

IBPS Clerk 2026 exam pattern

The prelims exam has 100 questions for 100 marks. Each section has a separate time limit of 20 minutes.
