GATE 2027 Document Checklist
Keep the following documents ready before you open the application form:
- Recent passport-size photograph in the required image format
- Scanned signature
- Valid photo ID scanned in PDF format
- SC or ST certificate, if applicable
- PwD certificate or UDID card, if applicable
- Dyslexia certificate, if applicable
Use a clear photograph with a plain background. Your face should remain visible, and the image should match the instructions in the official brochure. Make sure the signature is easy to read. A tiny signature that looks like a sleepy spider may lead to trouble during verification.
Accepted ID Proof for GATE 2027
Candidates must upload a valid ID proof during registration. They must also carry the same ID to the exam centre. Accepted documents include:
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Passport
- Voter ID
- Driving licence
- Government-issued photo ID
Check that your name, date of birth, photograph, and other details are correct. If the information on your application does not match your ID, you may face problems during the exam or later verification.
