Doon Defence Dreamers NDA Fees 2027: Fee Structure, Batch Timings, Hostel Fees, Results & Reviews

Hello NDA aspirants and parents! I’m Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. Doon Defence Dreamers lists post-Class-12 NDA tuition at ₹50,000 for three months, ₹75,000 for six months and ₹1,00,000 for one year; its two-year Class XI-XII foundation route is ₹6,00,000. The separate 14-day SSB course is listed at ₹25,000 with hostel. The general NDA and foundation fee listings exclude hostel, so compare the full living cost for your route.

Review the Doon Defence Dreamers Dehradun profile on AcademyCheck for its listed facilities and teaching videos, then match the course quote to your school stage.

Name check: Doon Defence Dreamers and Doon Defence Academy are separate Dehradun coaching institutes. Confirm that the institute name on your enquiry, hostel booking and payment receipt matches the campus you intend to join.

Doon Defence Dreamers NDA written-course fees

The current general fee page and NDA target page agree on the following post-Class-12 prices. Choose a duration around your preparation level and remaining eligible attempts.

NDA course

Tuition

Three
months

₹50,000

Six
months

₹75,000

One
year

₹1,00,000

The fee page lists study material, classroom lectures, physical training and mock tests as included; hostel and transport can cost extra. It does not clearly state tax treatment, so use the written batch quotation for the final total.

The target-course page lists a non-refundable ₹5,000 registration amount but does not say whether it is credited toward tuition or paid separately. Ask for an itemised invoice for your selected route before paying. A three-month revision course suits a student with completed basics; a longer course should provide enough concept teaching, practice and feedback to justify the extra time.

Foundation fees: schooling and registration

The dedicated foundation page and current general fee page both list:

  • Two-year Class XI-XII foundation: ₹6,00,000.

  • Class XII, one year without schooling: ₹3,00,000.

  • Class XII, one year with schooling: ₹3,50,000.

  • Class X, one year without schooling: ₹2,50,000.

These amounts exclude hostel. The foundation page lists a non-refundable ₹11,000 registration amount, while the NDA target page lists ₹5,000. Ask for the chosen route's written payment schedule, including whether registration is credited or charged separately.

AcademyCheck view: a ₹6,00,000 two-year foundation course and a ₹1,00,000 one-year post-Class-12 course serve different students. Compare duration, schooling and living costs before treating the cheaper course as a substitute.

Hostel fees, meals and the separate SSB package

DDD's hostel page shows accommodation photographs, including a girls' hostel, but does not provide a current itemised monthly rent-and-mess tariff. Obtain the allocated room's price, occupancy, food charges, deposit, billing period and cancellation rules. Do not rely on older hostel ranges from an earlier admissions cycle.

The dedicated 14-day paid SSB page lists ₹25,000 with hostel and says the full course fee is due at admission. It separately lists a non-refundable ₹5,000 registration amount. The page does not specify meals or say whether registration is credited; have the invoice state both.

The separately announced free SSB initiative has its own eligibility and cost conditions. It does not make foundation tuition or accommodation free. Read the DDD free SSB guide if you have cleared a written defence entry.

For residential admission, inspect the actual room and ask about supervision, leave, parent contact, medical support and travel between school and coaching. A hostel photograph cannot establish every allocated room's conditions.

Batch dates and daily class timings

The provider's current foundation and paid SSB pages list starts on 26 October, 2 November, 9 November and 16 November 2026. These are institute batch dates, not NDA or SSB reporting dates. Confirm the start for your chosen course before travelling.

The provider's current NDA page posts two example routines. Shift 1: wake-up at 5:00 am, PT 5:30–7:00 am, breakfast 7:30–8:00 am, classroom blocks 8:15 am–1:15 pm, lunch 1:30–2:15 pm and evening doubt clearing. Shift 2: classes 2:30–6:30 pm, dinner 7:30–8:30 pm, scheduled self-study 8:30–11:00 pm and morning doubt clearing. The published tables label classroom groups HO 4/HO7 and include subjects such as Biology and Spoken English, so treat them as provider-posted routines, not a guaranteed timetable for your course. Confirm your assigned NDA shift and subjects; foundation students should also confirm school hours, board preparation and supervised study.

Ask how late admission affects missed chapters, syllabus completion and repeat access. Choose a routine that allows regular revision and adequate rest, rather than judging a programme only by the number of scheduled hours.

Subject faculty and SSB mentors

The current faculty page lists these teaching roles with provider-reported experience.

  • Mathematics faculty member - more than 7 years, provider-reported.

  • English faculty member - more than 13 years, provider-reported.

  • General Studies faculty member - more than 15 years, provider-reported for NDA/CDS.

  • Mathematics teacher and defence-exam mentor - more than 10 years, provider-reported.

Its separate SSB roster lists these roles with provider-reported experience:

  • Retired Air Force officer - 21 years in the Air Force; psychologist.

  • Retired Army officer - 21 years in the Army; psychological assessor.

  • Retired Air Force officer - 32 years in the Air Force, including 12 years as Senior GTO; SSB group-task mentor.

Military service is different from classroom teaching tenure. Confirm the teachers and mentors assigned to your paid batch and how much individual feedback you receive.

Try a Maths class and inspect test feedback

DDD's Yodha first Maths class offers a useful subject preview. In the reviewed coordinate-geometry excerpt, the teacher draws axes, labels the origin and explains positive/negative signs across the four quadrants. The Hindi transcript prompts students to answer before completing the explanation.

Try plotting fresh points yourself and explaining their signs. This approach can help a beginner connect a diagram with coordinates. The public excerpt does not establish teaching quality across every subject or prove paid-course doubt support.

The course describes notes, practice papers, mocks and app support. Ask for a recent full NDA paper, worked solutions and an individual analysis report. Check what happens after a weak test: extra practice and actionable feedback matter more than a promotional test count.

Results: official entries and coaching claims

DDD displays Yuvraj Saxena as a selected NDA156 candidate. UPSC's NDA and NA II 2025 final result lists Yuvraj Saxena at position 5 in the male merit list. The official entry supports the result; DDD's coaching and purchased-programme association remain provider-reported.

DDD also reports 93 final selections in 2025 across NDA155/156. That total is not an independently audited batch success rate. Written qualification, SSB recommendation and final merit are different stages; ask which programme each relevant example attended.

Student reviews and refund terms

The Doon Defence Dreamers currently shows 4.5/5 from two reviews. That is a small sample, so speak with students from your intended course and hostel about class continuity, doubts, food and feedback.

The published refund policy generally makes admission, registration and course payments non-refundable. An exception must be agreed in writing at admission. Where an approved refundable amount exists, it states processing can take 15-30 working days after approval. Obtain deposit and withdrawal terms before paying.
