How the Admission Process Works

The whole journey from filling out the CUET form to sitting in your first class follows a set path. Here is the breakdown:

What Happens After the Merit List Comes Out

Once CU Kashmir releases its merit list in the last week of July, you can check it on cukashmir.ac.in. The list will show your form number, name, category, marks, and counselling schedule. Simply visit the site, go to the Admission tab, click on CUET UG 2026, and open the merit list PDF. Use Ctrl+F to find your name quickly instead of scrolling through pages of names that are not yours.

If your name appears on the list, keep your documents ready and report for counselling on the given date. Miss it, and you might have to wait for the next round, if there is one. So set that alarm.
