How to check and save the CTET result
Open the official CTET website.
Select the result link for the examination session you attended.
Enter the roll number and other details requested by that official page.
Match the candidate name, session and paper before reading the marks.
Check the total and qualification status, then download or print a readable copy.
Keep the file with your admit card and application record so you can find it when a recruitment form asks for it.
If a result link is temporarily unavailable, return through the CTET homepage rather than a mirror website. Re-enter the roll number carefully. Do not submit credentials to a coaching login or pay an intermediary to reveal your result.

The correct examination session
Paper I, Paper II or both, as applicable
The marks and qualification status shown
Any instructions about the marksheet or eligibility certificate
Reading example, not a sample result: first confirm the session and paper labels. Then read the marks shown for Paper I, Paper II or both, followed by the displayed qualification status and any marksheet or certificate instruction. This is a way to read the fields; it does not invent a score or pass result.
A result page for the wrong paper or session cannot establish your qualification. If a personal detail appears incorrect, preserve the original download and use CTET's official contact route. Do not alter the PDF yourself.
CTET qualifying marks and recruitment cut-offs
The official CTET FAQ gives 60% or more as the TET-pass benchmark. It allows school managements to consider concessions for specified categories under their reservation policies. Check the applicable policy rather than assuming one reduced score applies to every employer.

Recruitment cut-off: the employer's shortlisting or selection standard.
Appointment: also depends on the advertised qualifications, documents and selection process.
Passing CTET does not guarantee a teaching job. Read the separate recruitment advertisement before treating your score as sufficient for a particular post.
How to obtain the marksheet and certificate
Use DigiLocker and the CTET document instructions.
For February 2026, CBSE's result notice directs candidates to the mobile number supplied in their CTET application.
Retrieve the marksheet and, where qualified, the eligibility certificate.
Check the name, roll number, session and paper on each document.
Keep the original digital record and a readable backup for applications.
Under CBSE's certificate-validity notice, the qualifying certificate remains valid for life unless the appropriate government notifies otherwise. The notice also explains why older certificates need not be reissued simply to replace the previous seven-year wording.

Save both the marksheet and the applicable certificate.
Identify recruitment advertisements that accept your paper and qualifications.
Check age, education, category, language and subject requirements separately.
Prepare the required documents before the employer's deadline.

Separate concept gaps from language interpretation and time-management mistakes.
Repair one weak area before taking another full mock.

Frequently asked questions
Has every CTET 2026 result been declared?
No. February's 21st-edition result is declared. The 22nd edition is scheduled for December and has no result yet. Match the edition to your admit card.
What if I open a genuine result page for another session?
Return to the CTET homepage and choose your session. A genuine older scorecard link is still the wrong route for a different examination.
Is a CTET certificate a teaching appointment letter?
No. Apply through the employer's advertised recruitment process and satisfy its additional requirements.
Do older seven-year certificates automatically need replacement?
CBSE's lifetime-validity notice says revised documents will not be issued solely for that wording change. Keep the original certificate and the official notice.
Should I buy a complete course after a disappointing result?
First diagnose the weak area. Targeted practice or a paper-specific module may fit better than restarting material you already understand.
