AC Team

The Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship 2026-27 application window closes today, August 31, 2026. Eligible girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have joined the first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma course must submit their forms before the deadline.
Selected students will receive Rs 30,000 each year for the full duration of their eligible course. The support applies to undergraduate degree and diploma programmes that run for two to five years. This aid can help students manage study costs and continue their education without putting extra pressure on their families.
The application process opened on August 10, 2026. Students who have not submitted their forms should complete the process today through the official Azim Premji Foundation website. A form left in draft mode is not the same as a submitted form, so applicants should check the final status before closing the browser.
Who can apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship?
The scholarship is meant for girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are starting higher education. It is not a standard marks-based scholarship. The Foundation will check whether an applicant meets its stated eligibility rules.
Applicants must meet these conditions:
- They must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from a government school or college in an eligible state or Union Territory.
- They must have secured admission to the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course.
- The course must have a duration of two to five years.
- They must be studying at a government or recognised private college or university in India.
Students should check the official eligibility details before applying. Admission to a course alone does not confirm scholarship selection. The applicant must satisfy all the conditions set by the Foundation.
How to apply online
Students can apply through the official Azim Premji Foundation website at azimpremjifoundation.org. Follow these steps:
- Open the official website.
- Select Register New Applicants Cohort 2026.
- Enter the registered mobile number and verify it with the OTP.
- Create a user ID and password.
- Log in with the new credentials.
- Fill in the scholarship form with the correct personal, academic and admission details.
- Upload the required documents in the format requested on the portal.
- Enter valid bank account details.
- Review every field and submit the application.
Before clicking submit, check the spelling of the student’s name, course details, college name, mobile number and bank information. Even a small error in bank details can cause trouble later. Keep a copy or screenshot of the submitted form and any confirmation message for future reference.
Documents and details to keep ready
The application portal will show the required document list. Students should keep clear copies of their Class 10 and Class 12 records, admission proof, course details, identity information and bank account documents ready. The bank account should belong to the applicant or meet the rules shown on the official portal.
Use an active mobile number during registration. The portal uses OTP verification, and students may need the same number for updates. They should also enter details exactly as shown in their official records. Guesswork is useful in a quiz, but not in a scholarship form.
No fee is charged for the application
The Azim Premji Foundation has stated that it does not charge any fee at any stage of the scholarship application process. Students should not pay anyone for registration, selection, document checking or assistance.
Applicants should use only the official website and avoid links shared through unknown messages or social media accounts. They should never share OTPs, passwords or banking PINs with another person. If someone promises guaranteed selection in exchange for money, treat it as a warning sign.
What applicants should check before the deadline
- Confirm that the course and college meet the stated rules.
- Check that the form is fully completed.
- Upload readable documents.
- Verify bank account and contact details.
- Submit the form before August 31, 2026.
- Save the application or confirmation details after submission.
For changes, updates or further instructions, applicants should refer to the official Azim Premji Foundation website and the information shown on the scholarship portal.
