ASR and Anakapalle Districts Lead Andhra Pradesh Inter Supply Exam Results 2026

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) released the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) for May 2026. The announcement brought good news for thousands of students who took the exams between May 21 and June 5 at 1,069 centres across the state.

The board completed spot valuation between June 7 and 13 at 13 camps, which allowed them to publish results on time. This quick turnaround is worth noting, especially when you consider the number of papers that needed checking.

Breaking Down the Numbers

The first year general stream students achieved an 84% pass rate. Out of 4,71,864 students who appeared, 3,97,063 cleared their exams. The vocational stream wasn't far behind at 79%.

Second year students performed even better. The general stream recorded a 92% pass rate, while vocational stream students hit an impressive 93%. These numbers show a clear pattern: students tend to perform better in their second year.

What's interesting is the three-year trend. The first year general results have climbed from 77.54% in 2023 to 84% in 2026. That's a solid improvement that reflects better preparation or teaching methods, or perhaps both.

Who Improved Their Marks

The betterment category saw 1,35,435 candidates out of 2,29,034 improve their scores. That's about 59% of students who attempted to better their performance. It takes courage to sit for exams again, and more than half of these students saw their efforts pay off.

In second year, 48,149 students out of 91,303 candidates (53%) improved their results. Another 57,327 students passed and improved their marks out of 1,02,018 candidates (56%).

Boys vs Girls: The Performance Gap

Girls outperformed boys in first year, with a 39% pass rate compared to boys' 36%. But the tables turned in second year, where boys achieved 56% against girls' 54%. The difference isn't huge, but it does exist.

These gender-based differences might seem small, but they tell us something about how different groups handle exam pressure at different stages.

Which Institutions Did Best

BC Welfare Colleges topped the institutional rankings. They recorded 75% in first year and 84% in second year. AP Tribal Welfare institutions came next with 66% and 69%.

Government Junior Colleges showed 45% and 58% pass rates for first and second year. Private Unaided Junior Colleges registered 35% and 54%. The gap between different types of institutions is significant and points to varying resource levels and teaching quality.

Stream-Wise Performance

MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) candidates led the pack with 41% in first year and 59% in second year. MEC (Mathematics, Economics, Commerce) followed at 40% and 56%.

Science streams have always been considered tougher, so these pass rates are respectable. Students who stick with these subjects often have specific career goals in engineering or medicine.

District Champions

ASR district topped the first year general segment with 79%, followed by Anakapalle at 64%. In second year, Anakapalle led with 82%, while ASR scored 80%.

These two districts clearly have something going right. Whether it's better infrastructure, dedicated teachers, or more engaged students, their consistent performance sets a benchmark for other districts.

How to Check Your Results

HRD Minister Nara Lokesh announced that students can access their results at resultsbie.ap.gov.in. There's also a WhatsApp option through Mana Mitra at 9552300009.

Having multiple ways to check results helps, especially when websites crash due to heavy traffic. The WhatsApp option is smart because it reaches students who might not have regular internet access.

What These Numbers Mean

Supply exams give students a second chance. These results show that many students use this opportunity well. The improvement rates tell us that with more preparation time, students can turn their performance around.

The steady climb in pass rates over three years suggests that either teaching methods are improving, or students are preparing better, or both. Whatever the reason, the trend is positive.

For students who didn't clear this time, remember that one exam doesn't define your future. Many successful people failed exams before finding their path. Use this as a learning experience and prepare better for the next attempt.
