The exam took place on June 7, 2026. The Bar Council of India declared results on July 18, 2026, through its official website, allindiabarexamination.com.
A total of 1,75,701 candidates appeared for the test. Out of these, 1,15,805 candidates qualified. That leaves 59,876 who did not clear the cutoff this time around.

Why This Exam Matters
The AIBE is not just another exam to add to your pile of certificates. It is a mandatory test for law graduates who want the Certificate of Practice, or CoP. Without this certificate, you cannot practise law in Indian courts.
