CATJEE Academy Varanasi

Founded in 1996 by a visionary group of IITians, the Council of Alumni of IITs for Joint Entrance Examination (CATJEE) was established with the purpose of setting new standards of academic excellence and precision in engineering and medical entrance coaching. What began as a modest initiative has evolved into one of the most respected and result-oriented coaching institutes in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, nurturing thousands of IIT-JEE and NEET aspirants over the years.

The journey of CATJEE is a story of perseverance, passion, and purpose. What started in a small center at Naria, near Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, by Mr. Srikrushna Kumar Agrawal and Mr. Prateek Upadhyay, has grown into a sprawling, lush-green campus in Mahmoorganj, now recognized as one of the largest and most advanced coaching campuses in the region. Both directors—Agrawal Sir (Mathematics expert) and Upadhyay Sir (Chemistry expert)—have become symbols of teaching excellence, inspiring generations of students to aim higher and achieve more.

With a belief rooted in Aristotle’s timeless words, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit,” CATJEE has made excellence its tradition. The institute initially focused on IIT-JEE preparation, later expanding into NEET coaching with the same quality and consistency that define its legacy. The results speak for themselves—year after year, CATJEE students secure top ranks in engineering and medical entrance exams, reaffirming the institute’s credibility and dedication.
