Vajiram & Ravi UPSC Fees 2027: Fee Structure, Batch Timings, Results & Reviews
Vajiram & Ravi UPSC Fees 2027: compare GS and CSAT quotes, distinguish the newer 2028 intake, and check optional fees, tests, batch timings and reviews.

Hello UPSC aspirants! I am Runal Naik. Vajiram & Ravi’s 2027 fee list quotes ₹1,80,000 for General Studies and ₹1,95,000 for GS + CSAT in classroom and online mode. Standalone CSAT is ₹18,000. These are published course quotes; your admission offer must identify the actual batch and target exam.
Target year matters: as checked on 23 October 2026, the dedicated GS pages advertise a new 27 November intake for CSE 2028. The online page quotes ₹1,60,000 for GS and ₹1,75,000 with CSAT for that newer course. Those lower amounts do not establish the fee for a current 2027 online seat.
Vajiram & Ravi fees: compare the course and target year
The following 2027 listings include GST. GS prices come from the general fee list; optional and test-series prices are separate products. Confirm batch availability, mode, access and the payable total on the admission offer.

|---|---|
2027 GS fee | GS: ₹1,80,000 |
CSAT 2027 | ₹18,000 |

New CSE 2028 GS intake: separate from a 2027 admission
Classroom: ₹1,80,000 for GS; ₹1,95,000 with CSAT.
Live online: ₹1,60,000 for GS; ₹1,75,000 with CSAT.
Both same-mode bundles add ₹15,000 for CSAT. The course pages and admission catalogue identify the newer intake, but a final 2027 online quotation remains necessary to resolve the older fee-list difference.
Bundle boundary: the 2027 GS + CSAT quote adds ₹15,000 to GS alone. Buying ₹18,000 standalone CSAT alongside the ₹1,80,000 GS quote would total ₹1,98,000, compared with ₹1,95,000 for the bundle. The ₹3,000 arithmetic difference is useful only if the batch, access and CSAT scope suit you. Do not buy CSAT twice or deduct a concession without checking eligibility.
Batch timings and course duration
GS foundation: the current classroom and online GS pages list an 11-month CSE 2028 intake beginning 27 November 2026, 2:30 PM–5:00 PM. Its admission catalogue lists classroom applications through 27 November and online applications through 5 December. Request a separate 2027 cohort offer if that is your attempt.
CSAT 2027: the current classroom course starts on 26 October 2026, 5:30 PM–8:00 PM, and lasts about 3.5 months. The admission catalogue lists classroom and online CSAT applications through 31 October. Confirm the weekly days and access for your chosen mode.
Geography optional: the listed start is 12 October 2026, 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Confirm mode and the timetable for the chosen optional; GS hours do not automatically cover optional classes.
PowerUP Prelims 2027: the listed start is 11 October 2026. Offline students can take the scheduled test during the permitted week, Monday to Sunday, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Online students have flexibility within the test window.
Mains CAMP 2027: the current course header lists 26 October 2026. Obtain that batch's calendar; an earlier Batch 1 brochure carries a different October start.
Before enrolling, check whether class timings leave enough time for newspaper reading, revision, optional preparation and answer writing. An available seat is useful only if the programme matches your attempt and daily study capacity.
What do GS and test-series fees include?
The current CSE 2028 online GS programme advertises live classes, revision recordings, around 18 Yellow Books, PDF Recitals, mentoring and 30 GS/current-affairs Prelims tests. Its Mains Support Programme lists 12 sectional and four full-length tests with evaluation and feedback. Obtain the support calendar for your own attempt; these 2028 entitlements do not confirm access for a 2027 admission.
PowerUP: its 30 tests comprise 13 sectional, seven comprehensive and ten full-length tests. Printed support is offered for offline students and PDFs for online students. Existing Vajiram students are offered a 10% concession under the published terms. Verify eligibility rather than deducting it from every student's bill.
Mains CAMP: both plans advertise 44 tests across five phases, live brainstorming, model answers and mentoring. The Premium plan adds answer evaluation by the institute. The cheaper plan requires self-evaluation. The extra ₹7,000 is most relevant if you need someone to identify recurring weaknesses in your answers.
If feedback is your main requirement, also read our UPSC coaching comparison by mock-test quality. Ask for a checked answer sheet and the expected return time before selecting an evaluation package.
Faculty and a teaching sample
Veren Sharma - Experience: Teaching tenure not published. Subject: Polity and Governance, as introduced in the official teaching video.
Shubham Raturi - Experience: Teaching tenure not published. Subject: Economics; the official channel lists his lesson on inflation.
The official Removal of Judges lesson by Veren Sharma provides a useful teaching sample. In the opening segment, he connects a current-affairs topic with the constitutional framework, separates grounds from procedure and develops the explanation on a digital board. The introductory transcript up to about five minutes supports that observation; it is not a review of the complete paid course.
Use the sample to judge whether the pace and explanation suit you. Ask who will teach each subject in your own batch, how doubts are answered and whether that faculty assignment is confirmed. A public sample alone does not establish the entire batch's teaching quality.
Results and student reviews
Vajiram & Ravi reports that Sruthii R, AIR 18 in CSE 2025, studied its GS and Sociology optional programmes. Ask which course a successful student attended when comparing foundation, optional and test-series programmes.
The Vajiram & Ravi Rajinder Nagar profile on AcademyCheck shows 4.7/5 from 10 reviews. Treat this as a small branch-level experience signal. Seek recent feedback from students in your intended mode and medium about class continuity, doubts, test checking and material delivery.
Hostel, discounts and admission checks
No hostel or mess price is included in the course quotes above. If moving to Delhi, budget separately for rent, deposits, food and travel, and confirm your assigned class venue before choosing accommodation.
PowerUP's published terms say admission is non-transferable and refunds are not allowed after enrolment. Check the terms of each other product separately. Ask for a receipt showing the total fee, GST, any approved concession, material charges and the applicable cancellation conditions.
Which course should you choose?
A beginner who needs a structured GS syllabus can compare foundation programmes after confirming the correct attempt year. An aspirant who has already covered GS may need only CSAT support, an optional course or a test series. Coaching is optional; paying for a broader package is useful only when you will use its teaching and feedback.
For a second foundation-course option, compare the modules and inclusions in our Vision IAS UPSC Fees 2027 guide. For online study, check live timings, recording access, sample lessons and doubt support, then browse UPSC IAS courses on AcademyCheck to shortlist options. Compare equivalent courses and medium, rather than headline fees alone.
