Understanding Your Grade
Tamil Nadu follows a grading pattern rather than plain marks alone:
- A1: 91 to 100 marks
- A: 81 to 90 marks
- B1: 71 to 80 marks
- B: 61 to 70 marks

Made a Mistake? Apply for Re-totalling
If your marks look off compared to what you expected, you can apply for re-totalling through your school or exam centre. The fee is INR 205 per subject, or INR 305 for subjects with two papers. This process rechecks the addition of your marks, not the actual answers, so keep that in mind before you apply.
