Tamil Nadu 10th Supplementary Result 2026: How To Check Your Marks

If you sat for the TN SSLC supplementary exam this year, you are probably refreshing your phone every five minutes right now. Fair enough. Waiting for results feels like watching water boil, except the water is your future and the stove is the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu.

Here is everything you need to know about checking your Tamil Nadu Class 10 supplementary result 2026, without the stress of hunting through ten different tabs.

Where To Check The Result

The DGE conducted the SSLC supplementary exams between July 8 and July 15, 2026, for students who could not clear the main board exam earlier this year. The provisional statement of marks will be published online, and you can access it through any of these websites:

  • dge.tn.gov.in/results.html
  • apply1.tndge.org/dge-result
  • tnresults.nic.in
  • dge1.tn.nic.in
  • dge2.tn.nic.in
  • apply1.tndge.org

Bookmark a couple of these. Government exam websites tend to crash the moment thousands of students hit refresh at once. It is basically a tradition at this point.

Steps To Download Your Marksheet

Once the result is live, follow these steps to grab your provisional marksheet:

  1. Visit dge.tn.gov.in
  2. Click on the 'Result' section on the homepage
  3. Select the link for TN SSLC Supplementary Result 2026
  4. Enter your roll number and date of birth
  5. Submit the details to view your marks
  6. Download and save the marksheet for later use

Keep in mind this is a provisional copy. You will still need to collect your original marksheet from your school, so do not lose that piece of paper thinking it is the final word.

Checking Your Result Through DigiLocker

If the official website is slow or down, DigiLocker is your backup plan. Here is how it works:

  1. Open the DigiLocker app or website
  2. Log in with your username and password
  3. Enter your Aadhaar number and tap 'Pull Partner Documents'
  4. Choose 'Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE)'
  5. Select Marksheet, then enter your year of passing and roll number
  6. Click 'Get Document' to download your digital marksheet

The UMANG app offers a similar route, so you have more than one way to get your hands on that result.

Checking Your Result Through SMS

No internet? No problem. You can check your result the old-fashioned way, through SMS:

  • Type TNBOARD12REGNO, DATE OF BIRTH in a text message
  • Send it to 09282232585 or +919282232585
  • Your result will land in your inbox as a reply

This method works well if you are somewhere with patchy network coverage or if the websites are struggling under the weight of a million hopeful students.

What Your Marksheet Will Show

Your TN SSLC supplementary marksheet will include:

  • Your name and registration number
  • Date of birth
  • Name of your school
  • Subject-wise marks, including internal, practical, and theory scores
  • Grade or percentage
  • Your result status, pass or fail

Go through every detail carefully. A typo in your name or a wrong subject code can create problems later, especially when you apply for further studies.

Found A Mistake? Here Is What To Do

If something looks off on your marksheet, do not panic and do not ignore it either. Reach out to your school or contact the DGE directly to get the error fixed. The sooner you flag it, the sooner it gets sorted, and the less it interferes with your admission plans.

A Quick Look At The Class 12 Supplementary Results

While the Class 10 result was still pending, the Class 12 supplementary result was already declared on July 31, 2026. Around 60,527 students appeared for the Tamil Nadu supplementary exams this year across both classes. For Class 12, students needed at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass.

Those who want a revaluation or retotalling of their answer scripts can apply on August 4 and 5, between 11 am and 5 pm. The fee for this is Rs 275 per subject, and you can pick either revaluation or retotalling for a subject, not both.

Whether you are checking your Class 10 or Class 12 supplementary result, keep your registration number and date of birth handy. That is really all you need to log in and see where you stand.
