SuperGrads by Toprankers vs AceIPM for IPMAT: Which Coaching Is Right for You?

Hello IPMAT aspirants! I’m Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. SuperGrads combines national live coaching and mentorship; AceIPM combines recorded concepts, live boosters, mocks and current-IIM mentoring.

This is an evidence comparison, not a generic list of pros and cons. Research was refreshed on 15 September 2026 from the providers’ current faculty, fee, course, result and YouTube pages. Fees are the displayed values or ranges at the time of checking; results remain institute-reported unless an independent source is explicitly stated.

How to read this article: SuperGrads, the first coaching in the title, receives slightly more detail as requested. That extra detail is not an automatic recommendation. Every result must be tied to an exam year and association; every fee must be tied to a specific product; and every faculty name must be checked against the batch a student can actually join.

Quick evidence table

Decision area

SuperGrads

AceIPM

Published fee

Its current official profile lists roughly ₹45,000–₹60,000 for a one-year programme and ₹80,000–₹1.30 lakh for two years; individual online products range more widely by mentorship, self-paced or test-series tier.

The live store currently lists 2026 online Aspire/Apex products at ₹27,997, the 2027 Prodigy batch at ₹37,997, and self-paced variants from ₹18,997–₹32,997 depending on year and books.

Faculty/experience

The official faculty page names Anil Sable (Quant/DI-LR) with 21+ years, Tapesh Saxena with 19+, Sana Jafri with 13, Danish Ali with 14, Nikhil Soni with 7+ and Abhyansh Chauhan with 7+ years.

The course identifies Swapnil Bhartiya for Quant/LR and Saksham Chauhan for Verbal. It does not publish a numeric teaching tenure for either on the current course page; 20+ IIM mentors are a separate mentoring figure.

Named results

The provider reports 356 selections across IPM/BBA programmes in 2026, 132+ IPMAT Rohtak 2026 selections, and earlier named IPMAT Indore results including Raghav Jindal AIR 3 in 2025. These are institute-reported associations, not guarantees.

AceIPM reports 1,400+ IIM selections over six years and displays named historical IPMAT Indore ranks including AIR 3, AIR 6 and AIR 13. The course page should be used to check year and association.

Course and material

The current system combines live classes, recordings, exam-specific mocks with All-India ranking, 80+ learning documents, the BhAIya analytics/doubt assistant and Lighthouse mentoring. The provider reports online batches of about 40–50 students.

The published package includes 300+ hours of recorded concepts, weekly live booster classes, 20 physical books, 80+ mocks/sectionals, IIM mentors and interview preparation.

Option 1: SuperGrads by Toprankers

SuperGrads deserves extra scrutiny because it is the first coaching named in this comparison. Its advantage is breadth: a student can combine a live preparation batch, mocks, interview support, analytics and one-to-one mentorship inside one ecosystem. The weakness of breadth is tier confusion. A ₹5,999 test series, a self-paced product and a ₹60,000 live course are not substitutes, so the exact inclusions must be compared line by line.

The named faculty evidence is unusually good. Anil Sable’s 21+ years and Tapesh Saxena’s 19+ years establish senior Quant/aptitude depth; Sana Jafri and Danish Ali add long Verbal/Critical Reasoning experience. A student should still ask which of them teaches the quoted batch rather than assuming every website name appears weekly.

For outcomes, use named ranks and the exact exam year. The provider’s 2026 selection total spans multiple IPM/BBA programmes, while an IPMAT Indore AIR is a narrower signal. Ask for the student ID, exam and course association when a counsellor cites a result.

Current fees: Its current official profile lists roughly ₹45,000–₹60,000 for a one-year programme and ₹80,000–₹1.30 lakh for two years; individual online products range more widely by mentorship, self-paced or test-series tier. Official fee/course evidence.

Faculty and actual experience: The official faculty page names Anil Sable (Quant/DI-LR) with 21+ years, Tapesh Saxena with 19+, Sana Jafri with 13, Danish Ali with 14, Nikhil Soni with 7+ and Abhyansh Chauhan with 7+ years. Official faculty evidence.

Results: The provider reports 356 selections across IPM/BBA programmes in 2026, 132+ IPMAT Rohtak 2026 selections, and earlier named IPMAT Indore results including Raghav Jindal AIR 3 in 2025. These are institute-reported associations, not guarantees.

Classes, material and mocks: The current system combines live classes, recordings, exam-specific mocks with All-India ranking, 80+ learning documents, the BhAIya analytics/doubt assistant and Lighthouse mentoring. The provider reports online batches of about 40–50 students. Official programme evidence.

YouTube teaching/demo checked: Number System: Factor Theory and IPMAT Indore PYQs. AcademyCheck evaluation: The linked class moves from a named concept to IPMAT Indore PYQs, so it is useful for judging step-by-step Quant explanation, question selection and pace. It is more probative than a general strategy video.

Best fit: Students wanting a broad live ecosystem, national peer pool, analytics and optional personal mentorship.

Other option: AceIPM

AceIPM is a focused hybrid of recorded foundation, live boosters, mocks and peer mentoring. That can fit a self-driven student, but the course is not equivalent to a daily live classroom. Current store prices should override older marketing tables, and students should ask whether books, crash support and live frequency are included in the selected SKU.

Current fees: The live store currently lists 2026 online Aspire/Apex products at ₹27,997, the 2027 Prodigy batch at ₹37,997, and self-paced variants from ₹18,997–₹32,997 depending on year and books. Official fee/course evidence.

Faculty and actual experience: The course identifies Swapnil Bhartiya for Quant/LR and Saksham Chauhan for Verbal. It does not publish a numeric teaching tenure for either on the current course page; 20+ IIM mentors are a separate mentoring figure. Official faculty evidence.

Results: AceIPM reports 1,400+ IIM selections over six years and displays named historical IPMAT Indore ranks including AIR 3, AIR 6 and AIR 13. The course page should be used to check year and association.

Classes, material and mocks: The published package includes 300+ hours of recorded concepts, weekly live booster classes, 20 physical books, 80+ mocks/sectionals, IIM mentors and interview preparation. Official programme evidence.

YouTube teaching/demo checked: Surds, Indices and Identities demo by Swapnil Sir. AcademyCheck evaluation: This is a named Quant practice demo and therefore a useful check on worked examples and progression. The lack of published numeric teacher tenure should still be clarified in counselling.

Best fit: Self-directed aspirants who value recorded depth, current-IPM mentors and a focused mock ecosystem.

Where SuperGrads has the clearer case

SuperGrads publishes a stronger teacher-by-teacher experience roster and provides multiple live, self-paced, test and mentorship routes. That breadth is useful when the student needs accountability, but the exact paid tier must be identified.

The first provider’s larger section above also reveals the main risks: a wide catalogue can make unlike products look comparable, and a published faculty page does not prove regular assignment. Ask for a tax-inclusive quotation carrying the batch name, timetable, teacher roster, material, mock entitlement, recording validity, refund terms and mentoring cadence.

Where AceIPM may fit better

AceIPM’s focused 300-hour recorded library, 20 books, 80+ mocks and IIM mentor layer can be efficient for a self-driven student. Its direct Swapnil Sir Quant demo is useful; numeric teaching tenure remains a question for counselling.

What the teaching videos actually tell you

AcademyCheck opened the linked provider-branded videos and evaluated the class format rather than relying on thumbnails alone. A numbered foundation lesson shows sequencing; a one-shot or marathon shows revision speed; a paper solution shows question handling; and a strategy video shows planning, not classroom pedagogy. These are deliberately limited observations. Students should still attend a live class with the named batch teacher and ask one genuine doubt.

Fees, results and course quality: a fair comparison

  • Fees: compare the same exam year, preparation duration and delivery mode. Include GST, books, courier, test series, recordings, PI support and extensions.

  • Results: request overall AIR, exam year, student name or ID and whether the association was classroom, online, test-series-only or interview-only.

  • Faculty: prefer named subject teachers with published tenure. Treat institute age and cumulative team experience as separate context.

  • Material: inspect a current concept chapter, passage set and explanations. A large book count is not a quality score.

  • Mocks: separate IPMAT Indore/CLAT full mocks from other exams, sectionals and topic tests; inspect the analysis a normal student receives.

A decision you can make in one afternoon

  1. Write your target exam, year, current mock range, weakest section, preferred mode and maximum all-in budget.

  2. Request like-for-like written quotations and current teacher rosters from every provider.

  3. Watch the linked samples, then attend one live class with the likely teacher and score clarity, pace, practice and doubt handling.

  4. Inspect one current module and one full mock report. Identify whether the feedback produces a concrete next-week plan.

  5. Choose the teaching-feedback loop you can follow consistently; review progress after four weeks rather than waiting for the final months.

Verdict

Prefer SuperGrads when regular live structure, senior faculty disclosure and a national peer system matter. Prefer AceIPM when recorded depth, booster sessions and a focused lower-priced package fit your schedule. Test the actual teacher before choosing.

Summary

SuperGrads is broader and more transparent on years of experience. AceIPM is more focused, with current prices around ₹18,997–₹37,997 for several online variants and a strong recorded-plus-mentor design. Product type matters more than brand size.
