The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final result of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination 2025. Candidates can check the result on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC JE 2025 examination was held on July 20 and 21. The final result lists candidates who have been recommended for appointment to Junior Engineer posts in government departments.
SSC JE final result 2025: Key figures
A total of 1,731 candidates have been recommended in the final result. The category-wise list includes:
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 270 candidates
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 122 candidates
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 432 candidates
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 127 candidates
- Unreserved (UR): 780 candidates
The Commission has also reported the allocation status from the sliding process. A total of 585 candidates fixed their seats, while 1,028 candidates floated their seats. In addition, 181 fresh allocations were made against vacancies created when some candidates did not report for the sliding or identity verification process.

Candidates can follow these steps to view and save the result:
- Open the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Go to the results section on the homepage.
- Open the link titled “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025: Declaration of Final Result”.
- View the result PDF or result page shown on the screen.
- Use the search option in the PDF to find your roll number or name.
- Download and save a copy for your records.

What happens after the SSC JE final result?
The final result is not the last step for selected candidates. The department to which a candidate has been provisionally allocated will conduct document verification and complete the appointment process.
Selected candidates should keep their original documents and valid copies ready. These may include educational certificates, identity proof, category certificates, disability certificates where applicable, and other documents listed in the recruitment notice.
The User Department concerned will contact candidates about document verification, medical checks, joining instructions and other appointment formalities. If a candidate does not receive any communication within six months of the final result, the candidate must contact the concerned department without delay.
How final allocation was decided
SSC made the final allocation based on the candidate’s merit, the preferred posts submitted during the recruitment process, and the fixed or floated option chosen during sliding.
A fixed seat means the candidate accepted the allotted post and department at that stage. A floated seat means the candidate remained in the process for a possible change based on merit, preference and available vacancies.
Candidates should check the result notice with care because the final allocation may not match the first post or department shown in an earlier result.
No reserve list for SSC JE 2025
SSC has stated that it will not prepare a reserve list or waiting list for this examination. If a selected candidate does not join, the vacancy will be carried forward by the department for a later recruitment year.
This means candidates who are not included in the final result should not expect a later replacement list from SSC for the same examination.
The Commission will upload the final answer keys, response sheets and detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates on its website at a later date. Candidates should check ssc.gov.in for these updates and keep their registration details safe.
