Posts and salary details
The SSC CHSL 2026 recruitment covers vacancies in different ministries, departments and offices of the Government of India. The number of vacancies is tentative and may change after further updates from the commission.
- LDC and JSA: Pay Level 2, with a pay range of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200.
- DEO: Pay Level 4, with a pay range of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100.
- DEO Grade ‘A’: Pay Level 5, with a pay range of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300.
Who can apply for SSC CHSL 2026?
Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The required age is 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2026.
Candidates should have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2008. Age relaxation will be available for eligible candidates as per government rules. Applicants should check the official notification for category-wise relaxation before submitting the form.
SSC CHSL application fee
