RUHS Sets Record with 12-Day CUET Result Declaration for Second Year

When national entrance exams face criticism for paper leaks and irregularities, one university in Rajasthan stands out. The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) has proven that conducting fair exams and declaring results quickly is possible.

On Tuesday, RUHS released the CUET 2026 results just 12 days after conducting the exam. This marks the second consecutive year the university has maintained its record for speed and transparency.

A Clean Exam Process

The CUET 2026 exam took place on 21 May 2026. Over 96,000 students appeared for the exam, with an impressive attendance rate of 89%. The exam saw no complaints or irregularities, a notable achievement in the current educational climate.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Pramod Yewale released the results by pressing a button at a ceremony attended by Registrar Harphool Pankaj and other officials. He explained that the exam was conducted under strict supervision with biometric attendance, jammers, flying squads, and CCTV monitoring at all centres.

How Fast is Fast?

To put this in perspective, last year RUHS declared results in 11 days. This year, despite an increase in the number of candidates from 88,000 to over 96,000, the university managed to release results in just 12 days. This consistency shows a well-oiled system at work.

The offline exam format, combined with robust security measures, ensured a smooth process from start to finish.

What This Means for Students

The quick result declaration brings relief to thousands of students waiting to start their medical education journey. Classes for the 2026-27 session will begin on 17 August, and counselling will be completed before that date.

Students will compete for 21,540 seats across various courses including B.Sc Nursing, BPT, Pharmacy, and Allied and Health Care courses.

Meet the Toppers

Ajay Chaudhary from Jaipur topped the exam with 99 marks out of 100. Speaking about his achievement, Ajay said his goal from the beginning was to top the exam. His preparation and focus clearly paid off.

Six students shared the second position with 96 marks each. They are Pankaj Dhakad from Ajmer, Manan Chaudhary from Jhunjhunu, Tarun Sharma, Kundan Sharma, and Kunal Vijay from Alwar, and Anjali Sharma from Jaipur.

Why This Matters

In recent years, several national entrance exams have faced serious allegations. Paper leaks, result manipulation, and other irregularities have shaken student confidence. Parents worry. Students stress. The entire system comes under question.

RUHS proves that running a clean exam is not impossible. With proper planning, technology, and oversight, universities can maintain both speed and integrity. The biometric attendance system ensures the right person takes the exam. Jammers prevent cheating through mobile devices. Flying squads and CCTV cameras add layers of security.

The Numbers Tell the Story

Here are the key facts about RUHS CUET 2026:

  • Exam date: 21 May 2026
  • Result date: 2 June 2026
  • Total time taken: 12 days
  • Number of candidates: Over 96,000
  • Attendance rate: 89%
  • Available seats: 21,540
  • Class start date: 17 August

These numbers show the scale of the operation. Processing results for nearly 96,000 students in less than two weeks requires efficient systems and dedicated staff.

Looking Ahead

The success of RUHS offers a blueprint for other institutions. As exam season approaches each year, universities can learn from this model. Students deserve fair exams. Parents deserve peace of mind. The education system deserves credibility.

RUHS has shown that achieving all three is possible. The university's two-year track record of fast, clean results sets a standard others should follow. With classes starting in August, admitted students can now focus on preparing for their medical education journey rather than worrying about result delays or controversies.

For the thousands of students who appeared for CUET 2026, the wait is over. The results are out, the process was fair, and the future looks bright.
