The Railway Recruitment Boards have released the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Result 2026 for CEN 07/2025. The result for the first-stage Computer Based Test, or CBT-1, was announced on August 24, 2026.
Candidates who took the exam can now check the merit list on the official website of their regional RRB. The list shows which candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage. The RRB NTPC UG CBT-2 exam will be held on September 17, 2026.
RRB NTPC UG Result 2026: What has been released?
The CBT-1 result is available in PDF format. Each Railway Recruitment Board has published its own result notice and merit list. Candidates must check the website of the RRB they selected while filling out the application form.
The merit list contains the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for CBT-2. You do not need to wait for the scorecard to find out whether your roll number appears in the list. How to check the RRB NTPC UG merit list
- Visit the official website of your regional Railway Recruitment Board.
- Open the notice titled “Result of 1st Stage CBT for CEN 07/2025, NTPC Undergraduate”.
- Click the link for the result or merit list PDF.
- Open the PDF and use the search option on your device.
- Enter your roll number without extra spaces.
- Check whether your roll number appears in the list.
If your roll number is listed, you have been shortlisted for CBT-2. Save the PDF and take a printout or screenshot for your records. Also check the result notice for instructions from your regional RRB.
How to download the RRB NTPC UG scorecard
Individual scorecards will be available through the candidate login from August 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The scorecard will show your normalised marks and qualifying status. Candidates will need their registration details and date of birth to log in.
The scorecard is different from the merit list. The merit list confirms shortlisting, while the scorecard provides details about your marks and status. Download both documents when they are available and keep them safe for later stages of recruitment.
Details of the RRB NTPC Undergraduate recruitment
The recruitment drive under CEN 07/2025 covers 3,058 undergraduate-level posts. Applicants were required to pass Class 12. The age limit was 18 to 30 years as on January 1, 2026. Age relaxation applies to eligible candidates under government rules.
