AC Team

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the provisional answer key for the Group D Level 1 Computer Based Test (CBT) under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 09/2025. Candidates who took the exam can now check the answers, questions and responses recorded during the test.
The answer key is available through the regional RRB websites. Candidates should use the website linked to their application and follow the instructions given by the board. The objection window is also open for candidates who find an error in a question, answer option or answer key.
RRB Group D Answer Key 2026: Important dates
- CBT exam dates: August 3 to August 25, 2026
- Answer key release: September 8, 2026
- Last date to raise objections: September 15, 2026, up to 5 PM
The deadline matters. RRBs will not accept objections after the window closes. Candidates should avoid waiting until the final afternoon, when websites and payment gateways may face heavy traffic. A last-minute battle with a login page is not the best exam strategy.
What can candidates view?
After logging in, candidates can view more than the provisional answer key. The response page may include:
- The questions shown during the CBT
- The options selected by the candidate
- The official provisional answer key
- The details needed to submit an objection
These details allow candidates to compare each answer with the response they marked in the exam. Candidates should check the question number, selected option and answer key before deciding whether to submit a challenge.
How to check the RRB Group D answer key
- Visit the official regional RRB website linked to your application.
- Open the link for the RRB Group D answer key or response sheet under CEN 09/2025.
- Enter the required login details, such as registration number, password or date of birth.
- Open the question paper, recorded responses and provisional answer key.
- Download or save the page for checking your answers later.
Keep your login details ready before starting. Candidates should use only official RRB websites and avoid links shared through unknown messages or social media posts.
How to raise an objection
Candidates who believe that an answer is incorrect can use the objection link provided on the regional RRB website. The board will display the process and rules on the same page.
- Log in to the objection portal.
- Select the question or answer that you want to challenge.
- Choose the reason or objection category shown on the portal.
- Upload supporting details if the portal asks for them.
- Pay the objection fee online.
- Submit the objection and save the confirmation page.
The objection must relate to the question, answer option or answer key. Candidates should read the instructions before submitting each challenge. A clear objection supported by the correct rule, formula or source can help the board review the claim.
Objection fee and refund rules
The fee for raising an objection is ₹50 per question, along with any bank service charges. The payment must be made online through the objection portal.
If the RRB reviews the objection and finds it valid, the fee for that objection will be refunded after the applicable bank charges are deducted. The refund will be sent to the same account used for the online payment. Candidates should keep the payment record and objection receipt until the process is complete.
What happens after objections?
RRBs will examine the objections received during the permitted period. The board may revise the answer key if it finds that a challenge is correct. The final decision of the concerned RRB will be treated as final and binding.
No further representation will be accepted after the objection window closes or after the board announces its decision. Candidates should also note that the provisional answer key is not the final result. The final answer key and the candidate’s performance will be used for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Before submitting an objection, check the question ID, selected option, reason for the challenge, payment status and final submission message. Save screenshots or download the receipt for your records.
