Online applications for the Rashtriya Military Schools Common Entrance Test, or RMS CET 2026, are now open. Parents can apply for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Rashtriya Military Schools across India.

Who can apply for Class 6?
Students who have passed Class 5 or are studying in Class 5 can apply for admission to Class 6. The notice states that the student must be between 10 and 13 years old as on 31 March 2027.
Who can apply for Class 9?
Students who have passed Class 8 or are studying in Class 8 can apply for admission to Class 9. The available notice lists the age range as 10 to 16 years as on 31 March 2027.

How to apply for RMS CET 2026
- Open exams.nta.nic.in/rmscet.
- Go to the Latest News section.
- Select RMS CET 2026 Online Application.
- Choose New Registration and enter the required details.
- Log in and complete the personal, academic and contact information.
- Upload the student’s photograph and signature in the required format.
- Pay the application fee through the available online payment method.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a printed copy of the form and payment receipt for future use.
RMS CET application fee
General and OBC applicants need to pay Rs 1,000. The fee for SC, ST and dependants of personnel who died on duty is Rs 750. Applicants who use the late application window must pay an additional Rs 500.
