NEET PG 2026 Result: Download Scorecard, Cut-Off and Answer Key
Check the NEET PG 2026 result, download dates, category-wise cut-offs, answer key details and key steps for counselling and admission.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG 2026 result. Candidates who appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance exam can check their result on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The NEET PG 2026 exam was held on August 30, 2026. NBEMS also conducted a re-examination for candidates affected at two centres in Jaipur. The result includes important details such as the candidate’s score, rank and qualifying status.
Keep your application details and exam credentials ready before checking the result. A slow internet connection and a forgotten password are not the best team, especially on result day.
How to check the NEET PG 2026 result
Follow these steps to view and download the NEET PG result:
- Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
- Open the Examinations section on the homepage.
- Select NEET PG from the list of exams.
- Open the NEET PG 2026 section.
- Click on the result link.
- Enter the required login details.
- Download the result and check the details shown against your roll number.
- Save a copy of the result for counselling and admission records.
Candidates should check their name, roll number, marks, rank and qualifying status. If any detail appears incorrect, contact NBEMS through the official support channels listed on its website.
NEET PG 2026 qualifying cut-off
Qualifying for NEET PG does not mean that a candidate has secured a seat. Candidates must meet the category-wise cut-off and take part in the counselling process for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB direct six-year programmes and PG Medical Diploma courses.

The cut-off score is the minimum score linked to the qualifying percentile. A candidate’s admission will also depend on rank, category, seat availability, choice filling and the rules set by the counselling authority.
NEET PG 2026 scorecard release date
Individual NEET PG 2026 scorecards will be available for download from the NBEMS website on or after October 1, 2026. Candidates should download and store the scorecard as soon as it becomes available.
The scorecard will remain available for six months from its release date. NBEMS has stated that it will not accept requests for scorecards after this period. The document will not be sent by post or email, so candidates should keep both a digital copy and a printed copy.
NEET PG 2026 answer key details
NBEMS is expected to publish the NEET PG 2026 answer key on or after October 1, 2026. Candidates can view question-wise information through their individual applicant login on the NEET PG 2026 index page.
The answer key details are expected to include:
- Question ID
- Correct answer key ID
- Response ID marked by the candidate
- Score awarded under the applicable evaluation method
The answer key will be released in line with the NEET PG 2026 Information Bulletin and the Supreme Court order dated April 29, 2025, in SLP No. 9298 of 2018.
What candidates should do next
Candidates who qualify should track the counselling schedule and keep their documents ready. These may include the NEET PG scorecard, result, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship certificate, registration certificate, identity proof and category certificate, where applicable.
Qualifying the exam alone does not confirm admission. The candidature remains provisional until the candidate meets all eligibility rules and completes the document checks during counselling and admission. Candidates should read the official notices before filling choices or reporting to an institute.
