1. Fees: compare live with live and recorded with recorded
The earlier comparison put a broad LegalEdge range beside Law Prep’s individual prices. That can mislead students because a test series, recorded course, six-month live batch and year-long classroom programme are different products.
Closest visible live-course comparison: LegalEdge’s six-month CLAT 2027 online listing is ₹47,249, while Law Prep’s Booster is listed at ₹45,000. Do not declare the ₹2,249 difference decisive until duration, live hours, printed books, mentoring, GST, recordings and test access are confirmed in writing.
Recorded entry option: Law Prep Flix is ₹24,999. It should be compared with a LegalEdge recorded or self-paced product, not with full live coaching.
Full-year premium option: Law Prep Foundation is ₹1,25,000. Compare it with the exact LegalEdge year-long Gold or Platinum quotation, not the ₹25,000 starting point from a mixed range.
Fee verdict: Law Prep is easier to audit because it publishes named tier prices. The actual cheaper provider depends on the matched batch. Ask both providers for a tax-inclusive quote showing classes, books, courier, mocks, recordings, mentoring, validity, refund terms and extensions.
2. Results: same year, rank and association format

Rohan Joshi appears in both providers’ published result records. That does not prove either record is false: a student may use one provider’s teaching and another provider’s mocks or test series. The consistent comparison is therefore named rank + exam year + disclosed programme association, not a headline selection total without a denominator.
Results verdict: LegalEdge has the clearer edge for concentrated CLAT 2026 top ranks because it reports AIR 1, 2 and 3. Law Prep still shows meaningful top-10 and top-25 representation. Neither provider’s marketing page supplies an independently audited success rate for all enrolled students.

Study-material verdict: Law Prep publishes the stronger visible print-and-digital volume. LegalEdge publishes a substantial testing structure, especially in Platinum, but students should request the exact current module list. Faculty and batch check
Faculty matters, but it should not overshadow the three comparison areas in the title. LegalEdge’s current material names senior Quant, Analytical, VARC and Legal mentors, including Tapesh Saxena, Shrikant Nema, Pankaj Godwani, Neelam Malkani and Utkarsh Pandey. Law Prep’s page names senior educators including Anupama Joshi, Dr Sonia Jain, Sachin Patil and Dr Saumitra Azad. Published names do not prove regular assignment to every online or classroom batch.
Before payment, ask both providers to put the subject-wise teacher names, weekly timetable, teacher-change policy and normal doubt-response route for your exact batch in writing.
