  • 200+ Marks: Under 6,000 Rank

  • 150+ Marks: 17,000 – 25,000 Rank

  • 100+ Marks: 65,000 – 80,000 Rank

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. At what time will the JEE Main Session 2 result be released?

While NTA has not specified a time, results are typically uploaded in the late evening hours (after 8:00 PM) on the scheduled date.

2. Will there be a single rank list for both sessions?

Yes. NTA will consider the best of the two scores for candidates who appeared in both sessions to prepare the final All India Rank (AIR) list.

3. What happens if two students get the same percentile?

NTA uses a tie-breaking policy: priority is given to the higher score in Mathematics, followed by Physics, then Chemistry. If the tie persists, the candidate with a lower ratio of attempted incorrect answers is ranked higher.

4. How can I download the final answer key?

The final answer key will be available as a PDF on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. You do not need login credentials to download it.

5. Can I challenge the JEE Main final answer key?

No, the final answer key released by NTA is conclusive. No further challenges or re-evaluation requests are entertained once the final key and result are out.
