JEE Advanced 2026 Cut-Off: Category-wise Expected Marks और Qualification Details

IIT Roorkee ने 17 May को JEE Advanced 2026 exam conduct की। Morning shift में 9 बजे से 12 बजे तक Paper 1 हुआ और afternoon में 2:30 से 5:30 बजे तक Paper 2। अब सभी students का ध्यान एक ही चीज पर है: cut-off marks क्या रहने वाली हैं?

Institute ने official website पर question papers भी release कर दिए हैं। Students और teachers दोनों की राय है कि इस बार का paper खासा challenging था।

Exam का Overall Difficulty Level कैसा रहा

Students और teachers के मुताबिक Paper 1 moderate से लेकर highly challenging तक था। Mathematics सबसे लंबा और tough रहा। Physics में deep conceptual clarity की जरूरत थी। Chemistry tricky और tough दोनों थी।

Paper 2 भी कोई आसान नहीं रहा। यह highly conceptual और time-intensive था। खासकर Mathematics बहुत ही tough बताया गया। Paper की difficulty level का सीधा असर cut-off पर पड़ेगा।

Category-wise Expected Cut-Off Marks क्या हैं

अलग-अलग coaching institutes ने अपनी predictions दी हैं। Allen, PhysicsWallah और Infinity Learn by Sri Chaitanya ने category-wise cut-off का अनुमान लगाया है।

General Category

General category के students के लिए competition सबसे ज्यादा है। Allen के अनुसार minimum 20.6% overall marks चाहिए। PhysicsWallah की prediction 93.2 से 94.1 percentile है। Infinity Learn का अनुमान है कि 90 से 100 marks overall और हर subject में करीब 9 marks की जरूरत होगी।

GEN-EWS और OBC-NCL Categories

इन दोनों categories में थोड़ी राहत मिलती है। Allen के मुताबिक दोनों के लिए 18.5% minimum marks चाहिए। PhysicsWallah ने GEN-EWS के लिए 81-82 percentile और OBC-NCL के लिए 79-80 percentile predict की है। Infinity Learn का estimate 80-90 marks overall है, जिसमें per subject करीब 8 marks की जरूरत है।

SC और ST Categories

SC और ST categories के students के लिए cut-off और नीचे रहती है। Allen ने दोनों के लिए uniform 10.3% बताया है। लेकिन PhysicsWallah की percentile predictions अलग हैं: SC के लिए 60-62 और ST के लिए 47-49। यह इन groups में improved performance trends को दर्शाता है। Infinity Learn के अनुसार 45-55 marks overall और per subject करीब 6 marks चाहिए।

PwD Category

PwD (Persons with Disability) category में Allen ने 10.3% cut-off बताया है। PhysicsWallah की prediction near-zero percentile (0.001-1) है, जो इस category के लिए काफी accommodating है।

Cut-Off Marks Actually क्या होते हैं

JEE Advanced cut-off वो minimum score है जो candidates को overall rank list में आने के लिए चाहिए। यही score IITs में undergraduate programmes में admission के लिए qualify करता है।

Cut-off हर साल बदलती है। इसे तीन main factors affect करते हैं: exam की difficulty level, candidates की संख्या, और seats की availability।

असली cut-off results declare होने के बाद announce की जाती है। हर IIT अपने courses के लिए specific thresholds तय करता है। यह JoSAA counselling के दौरान होता है।

Opening और Closing Ranks का मतलब

Admission benchmarks opening और closing ranks के रूप में display होते हैं। साथ ही subject-wise (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) और aggregate percentage requirements भी होती हैं।

Opening rank वो highest rank है जिस पर किसी course में admission मिला। Closing rank वो lowest rank है जिस पर admission मिला। अगर आपकी rank closing rank के अंदर है, तो आपको उस course में seat मिल सकती है।

इस साल Cut-Off कम या ज्यादा होगी

Paper की difficulty को देखते हुए experts का मानना है कि cut-off थोड़ी कम हो सकती है। दोनों papers में Mathematics बहुत tough थी। Physics conceptually challenging थी। Chemistry में भी students को struggle करना पड़ा।

लेकिन final cut-off तभी पता चलेगी जब सभी candidates की performance का overall analysis हो। अगर ज्यादातर students ने अच्छा perform किया तो cut-off उतनी कम नहीं गिरेगी।

अब Students को क्या करना चाहिए

Results का wait करते समय panic करने की जरूरत नहीं है। अपने performance का realistic assessment करें। Official answer key release होने पर अपने approximate marks calculate करें।

अगर आपको लग रहा है कि cut-off clear हो सकती है, तो JoSAA counselling की preparation शुरू करें। College और course preferences की list बनाएं। अपनी category की previous years की closing ranks देखें।

अगर cut-off clear होने में doubt है, तो backup options पर भी काम करें। State level entrance exams या private colleges के options explore करें। कई अच्छे engineering colleges हैं जो JEE Main ranks accept करते हैं।

Results आने तक positive रहें। आपने अपना best दिया है, और यही सबसे important है।
