ICSE and ISC Results 2026: How to Check Your Class 10 and 12 Scores Online

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to announce the ICSE and ISC results 2026 soon. Students who appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations can check their scores online at results.cisce.org. The board will confirm the exact date and time on its official website.

ICSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026. ISC Class 12 examinations took place from February 12 to April 3, 2026. Both exams were held in pen and paper mode across various centres in India and abroad.

Expected Result Date

Based on past trends, CISCE typically announces results by the end of April or in the first week of May. Last year, the results were declared on April 30. However, the board has not confirmed the official date yet. Students should keep checking the official website for updates.

Where to Check Your Results

You can access your ICSE and ISC results 2026 on these official websites:

  • cisce.org
  • results.cisce.org

The result links will be activated on these portals once the board makes the official announcement.

How to Download Your Result

Follow these simple steps to check your ICSE or ISC result online:

  1. Visit the official website at cisce.org
  2. Click on the result link for ICSE or ISC
  3. Enter your course code
  4. Enter your seven-digit Unique ID (UID)
  5. Enter your Index Number
  6. Type the captcha code shown on screen
  7. Submit the details
  8. Your result will appear on the screen
  9. Download and save it for future reference

You can find your UID and Index Number on your admit card. Keep your admit card handy when checking results.

Alternative Ways to Check Results

If the official website is slow due to heavy traffic, you can check your result through these methods:

Via SMS

Send an SMS to 09248082883 in this format:

  • For ICSE results: Type ICSE and send
  • For ISC results: Type ISC and send

Via DigiLocker App

Download the DigiLocker app on your mobile phone. Enter your login credentials to access your result. This is a reliable alternative when websites are overloaded.

Understanding the Passing Criteria

To pass the ICSE Class 10 examination, you need to secure at least 33% marks overall and 35% in each individual subject. English is compulsory to pass.

For ISC Class 12, the passing marks are 35% in each subject and 35% overall. Students must pass in English to receive their pass certificate.

The ICSE board calculates your percentage using the best five subjects out of six. The subject with the lowest marks is not considered in the final percentage calculation.

What Details Will Your Result Show

Your ICSE or ISC result will display:

  • Student name
  • Date of birth
  • Student ID or UID
  • School name
  • Roll number
  • Marks in theory subjects
  • Marks in practical subjects
  • Overall result (Pass or Fail)

Important Points to Remember

The result you download online is provisional. You need to collect the original marksheet from your school after a few days. This original certificate is important for college admissions and other official purposes.

Check all details on your result carefully. If you spot any errors or discrepancies, contact the examination authority immediately through your school.

What If You Are Not Satisfied With Your Marks

If you believe your marks don't reflect your performance, you can apply for re-evaluation. The process is online and costs Rs 1,000 per subject. You can pay the fee through the online portal.

The re-evaluation results are typically announced in the second week of June. You can check them using the same login credentials on the official website.

Improvement Examinations

Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for improvement examinations. The board announces the dates for these exams after the main results are declared.

Note that CISCE has discontinued the compartment examination system. Students now need to appear for improvement exams if they don't clear all subjects in the first attempt.

What Happens If the Website Crashes

Due to lakhs of students checking results simultaneously, the official website might slow down or crash temporarily. Don't panic if this happens. Wait for some time and try again. You can also use the alternative methods mentioned above like SMS or DigiLocker.

The results remain available on the website for several months, so you don't need to rush. Take your time and download your result when the traffic eases.

Using Your Results for College Admissions

Once you receive your results, you can start applying for higher education courses. Keep multiple copies of your result printout. You will need them for various application forms and counselling processes.

Many colleges and universities begin their admission process soon after board results are announced. Stay prepared with all your documents to avoid missing deadlines.

Remember that your journey doesn't end with board results. Whether you score high or face challenges, there are always paths forward. Stay positive and focus on your next steps.
