Meeting held to review exam preparations
A meeting was held at the Mini Secretariat in Gurugram on Friday to review the arrangements. Sumit Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, chaired the meeting. Centre supervisors and duty magistrates attended the session.
Officials received instructions to follow every rule and direction issued by UPSC. The administration has asked all officers to understand their roles before exam day. Any doubt linked to the examination process must be cleared in advance, so that staff do not have to solve a puzzle at the last minute.
The meeting also covered the need to complete all arrangements at the examination centres on time. Staff members posted at each centre must know their duties and follow the set process during every shift.
34 centres will host 11,896 candidates
Gurugram will have 34 examination centres for the CDS and NDA exams. Across these centres, 11,896 candidates are expected to appear. The exams will take place in three shifts, which means that centre staff must manage entry, seating and movement with care.
